IDMish pt1 - Live in Minneapolis

A-110-4 is being modulated with a sine wave from the wmd Spectrum vco.  the Spectrum is going through a vca before it goes into the A-110-4's LFM input which the vca is being modulated with an envelope from Maths triggered with every note.  In the first half of the track, both the A-110-4 and the Spectrum are getting the same v/oct sequence. The track starts with just a sine wave from the A-110-4 and then the LFM knob is turned up to about 8 to bring in through zero fm modulation from the sine wave from Spectrum. after every time the sequence plays through i push the frequency of the Spectrum sine wave lower.  I'm just turning the knob up a little each time to a random lower note. eventually when it's at the lowest point, in the middle of the recording, i pull the v/oct cv out of the Spectrum so only the A-110-4 is getting the sequence so the Spectrum is no longer tracking with the A-110-4.  at this point i start pushing the frequency of the Spectrum up after each time the sequence plays through. 

there is some reverb and delay in this recording.

The new incarnation of the 1973 Buchla Music Easel is a portable, performance-oriented instrument as close as possible to the original. Using the same circuits, mechanical design and graphic theme that made the original an ergonomic dream to grab hold of and create organic electronic music from the soul.

The Buchla Drums consist of 32 immaculate percussive sounds of the Buchla music Easel housed in a Drum Rack along with individual marcos to easily produce a multitude of signature electronic textures that will add an enormous amount of depth to any musical composition.

the oscillators going in (fm/pm'ed WMD PDO and Doepfer A 110-4) are pitch modulated by MI Marbles CV. Marbles CV is also modulating decay a little. Marbles trigger outs are triggering the natural gates. probability triggers from pams workout are occasionally opening vcas to send audio from natural gate to reverb (disting) and delay (DLD).

cs-l only sound source in this patch. recorded in one take. 5 outs filtered/lpg’ed separately 

top osc getting quantized random, bottom getting a 7 step sequence. 
final output of top osc going into make noise lxd ping with steady clock while also being modulated with an lfo. wavefolding modulated by benjolin 
multiply (ringmod) output going into ryo aperture for the bongoish sound. 
final output bottom osc brought slightly half way though recording more harmonics. 
square/sub out to WMD/SSF MMF filter being tweaked live and modulated by rampage. 

PWM output's of osc one and two are going into Animodule SOB, which gets random pings from truing machine. cutoff turned up halfway though to let filter open fully.  SOB going into reverb.

Recorded in four passes for four voices/tracks.  
one voice running through Knas Moisturizer spring reverb
one voice running through Happy Nerding FX Aid
no filters or external vcas used
other two recorded dry.
