Born and raised in Tokyo, Risa Taniguchi is the classically trained and skilled musician turned leading techno queen, making a serious impact on the scene with her electrifying releases and DJ sets. Drawing inspiration from the underground scene of her home city, and playing clubs such as Vent, Contact and Womb, Risa is making all the right noises in all the right places.

Her second EP for Dense & Pika’s Kneaded Pains label follows up releases for Cin Cin, Second State and Odd Recordings. On the ‘This Guy’ EP, Risa deploys a trio of shadowy yet vigorous club cuts, taking in rasping acid lines, twisted vocal loops and haunting tones, each track delivered with a pace and energy that will satisfy those with a love of the real techno sound.

Kimono, who is hot off his featured remix of Alexi Delano's
"FOMO Tech" release for the label, is back with a fresh new
single titled "Sofles". Deep bass kicks and crisp percussions
start things off as a slowly rising hook creeps into the mix.

Additional percussions are carefully layered onto the 
foundation of this steady moving track and is sure to fit right 
into the DJ tools of today's top Techno performers. 
Legendary DJ/Producer Pfirter handles the remix duties with 
an out of this world banger of a remix. Pfirter comes out 
swinging with super heavy stadium shaking kick drums and 
saturated percussions as he carefully introduces a heavily 
flanged main hook that relentlessly builds throughout the 
track. Pfirter shows off his master-craftsman skills in the 
studio on this remix and will definitely catch the ears of those 
hard dancing Techno crowds.

CMND CTRL continues to push the envelope on what defines
