The first new Electro Clash tracks from Break 3000 since 2003! After a string of re-issues of old gems on Italy’s “Mondo Phase”, the Argentinian label “Calypso’s Dream” and his own “Electron Feel” last year, Break 3000 is finally back with some new original cuts!

The A-side “Electronique” has all the ingredients you would want from a hard-hitting Electro Clash track. EBM style drums and a powerful raw bass line topped with soaring rave leads and pads and added original (Vocoder) vocals by Break 3000 himself. This one is road tested already on dance floors and big systems and a guaranteed crowd pleaser! Second up is the driving “Continua”, leaning more towards Break 3000 Techno classics like “Flash” and “Fix” this filtered rave lead will make a wild crowd go even wilder. Dark and twisted Electro Techno at its best.

The B-side opens with another aspect of the Break 3000 sound spectrum. We look back to the early years here and to songs like “The Wait” and “Spacemaschinenreise” that were produced in 1999. In a Detroit meets Rotterdam styled Electro setting this song uses a lot of the old sounds from 26 years ago, mostly coming from his original EMU sampler used at the time and a great 80s vocal sample gives this track it’s title. We are transported back to the golden era of Cold Wave here. Closing out this new EP is the wonderful Marcello Giordani from Parma, Italy who build a strong reputation with his “Italo Deviance” label over the years. He gives the original “Electronique” a great funky “Proto House” bass line in best “Bobby Orlando” manner, what a brilliant crossover track this one is! With the Vermona drum sounds his - Dark Disco meets Early House - jam will certainly be on many DJ’s want list.

Kulture Galerie returns with its fourth vinyl compilation, this time showcasing a futuristic collection of Techno and Tech House weapons with hints of Braindance, Electro and Acid. The compilation opens with tracks by London’s rising star YSANNE (Semi Delicious) and Rare Happiness, both delivering perfect dance floor destroyers, already tested in clubs around Europe.

Next, we have analogue enthusiast Perseus Traxx, with a relentless live jam packed of squelch and, on the flip side, Uncanny Valley’s Herzel who teams up here with North Macedonia's own L.O.V.D and together offer us a slow and chuggy Electro cut.

The compilation closes with Barcelona’s mysterious multitalented artist Sal Abi and his “Mariani”, a unique Machine made beat full of soul and magic. Following is the fast paced groove of “expandy” by acid maestro FLX and finally the record’s last track is the blissful and timeless “Parking” by Global Aphasia.

PREMIERE: Herzel x L.O.V.D - Rough Reel [Kulture Galerie]

System Error is delighted to present the last release from DJ and producer Vitya, Sign Language EP, set for release July 08 via System Error.

Born and raised in a family of musicians in Lviv, Ukraine, Vitya's musical journey spans acoustic guitar, bass, and an evolution into electronic music production. He began composing music at the age of 18 using Guitar Pro software, which laid the groundwork for his understanding of arrangement skills that remain central to his production today.


“I got into electronic music at 26,” Vitya reflects. “It opened a whole new world for me. Hearing techno at a local rave felt like a live concert that never ended.”


His first release arrived in 2022 on Late Night Superglue, marking the beginning of an exciting artistic journey. Since then, Vitya has released music on labels including 199, Tancido, Fib, Sonic Weapons of Love, Lisplk and Soundscapes Digital.


Vitya’s philosophy toward music-making is grounded in openness: “I never push the process, but allow it to happen naturally. For me, music is a journey, not a path to recognition, but a form of expression and discovery.”

Administering some proper dancefloor torque throughout. Groove-forward gear deftly balancing playfulness, heft and trippier flourishes like it's effortless. 

Everything's fine-tuned for maximum impact. Sci-fi flourish, ominous portent, even a hint of new age Balearic for good measure. Something for everyone.

Of all of the songs dropping during this year's Spooky Week, this has a very good chance of being the "spookiest."  Not the scariest, not the most horrifying, and, ironically, not necessarily the darkest...

...but, spooky?  This is damn spooky.  

Interbay points itself directly into the heart of darkness and explores the "Absence of Light"--and what it finds there is a James Earl Jones-esque voice narrating the situation where fear and desire merge and multiply each other.  

"In the absence of light, we'll have to rely on our OTHER senses" is a phrase that has never before had such inherent sexual tension surrounding it.  

Still, this isn't a song that would benefit some adult bedroom time--this is a song for a very dark dancefloor and whatever you might find there to explore.  There is a menace and a growing density of risk on that dancefloor that is as exciting as it might be terrifying.  

...and when I put this song together, I didn't think twice--I immediately put this on the special shelf in The Vault of Phantom Laboratories West where I keep tracks that should only be unleashed into the world during Spooky Week.    And now, it emerges...just in time.
