Rob started getting passionate about house music from his early teens. He was initially tuning into Stu Allan's mix show at weekends where he would begin to educate his virgin ears with what i would describe as audible magic. Rob had a DJ's ethos from day one as he would live record the tunes he liked onto cassette whilst doing on the fly edits to remove the advert breaks.
 
As his knowledge and experience of music increased, he found himself becoming naturally inquisitive about the technical side of mixing and was fascinated at how an atmosphere can be manipulated, altered and changed just by spinning plastic and tweaking a few nobs and faders. This eventually lead him to getting a pair of Technics 1210's about 15 years ago and the rest is history.
 
In the beginning his main passion was for old skool and classic house from early 90's, however his musical taste has since matured to genres including progressive house, electro and breakbeat.
 
Plenty of DJ's and producers have been a huge influence on Rob and you will hear a lot of their material featured on his mixes. Rob would like to take this opportunity to drop a few names and pay his respects to the following:-

Originally drawn to the energetic realm of rock and metal in his youth, the path to electronic music was unconventional. Though initially pulled towards the raucous sounds of metal, his aspirations of leading a band or mastering the guitar didn't resonate with his true musical calling. It wasn't until his thirties that he found his calling, sparked by the polyrhythmic arpeggios of deadmau5's '4ware' and the gritty beats of Crystal Method's 'Vegas'.

Today, he stands at the forefront of the electronic music scene, propelled by his dedication to honing his craft. Guided by influential mentors, he has unleashed his unique vision through releases on labels like BBop Music and Abstract Tech. Tracks like 'Gr00ve is hard to B3at' showcase his distinctive style, blending narration with electrifying rhythms. His relentless dedication has earned him a place on esteemed compilations like BBop's Autumn Sampler.

Looking ahead, he sets his sights on the live arena and has collaborations lined up with industry heavyweights. With 'Acquiring Signal', he aims to transmit his visionary sound to dance floors worldwide.
