For the 74th release we have a bit of a family affair and here is the story why.
Back in 1999 Dhan Solo & Steve Tempo started a label called Free For A Girl Recordings which released their own music as the duo Varanassi.
Bobalino's first ever vinyl release was on Free For A Girl Recordings which was a remix of Mark Saunders track Strong with his band Axcess.
Dhan Solo later on joined forces with Bobalino to form the Breakbeat duo Curl & Dean.
Bobalino then started the label Break Wind Productions which is now releasing the 1st ever solo Curl release under the pseudonym Dhan Solo.
On this 4 track EP you will experience an assortment of styles, vibes & genres.
Love That is sonorous joyous euphoric broken beat banger with a celestial breakdown to send you bouncing to utopia and beyond.
On the remix Steve Tempo bumps us along with this deep bass low-slung proggy chugger with shimmering synths & hypnotic tones.
Working Saturday takes us on some glorious sunshine vibes with nostalgic pads and pianos flowing over a shuffling groove.

So this time I decided to try mixing a new genre and as I've been thinking of making a chill trap mix for a while now, I went for it :) Haven't uploaded that many chill trap tracks lately but every now and then I stumble upon some great ones so I compiled some of them in this mix. Chill trap as a whole is quite a varied genre but for this mix I mainly focused on the melodic/atmospheric side.

Thanks for the promo Greg, feedback: Steve Mc Cabe - Case in point, Dark and deep, minimal but atmospheric. This tune bounces around in your head with its tech driven sparse beats. A tune for the after party or late night/early morning party set.
Steve Mc Cabe - Case in Point - Phase Animator remix, Lots of reverb and fast decaying delay give this remix an eerie orbital vibe starting off. The simple bass pattern and the clappy percs arrive and your in techy heaven.
The EP is a nice starting point to the label and a definite sign of the direction of things to come from deep garnet.
