After launching in 2018 Diesel Recordings has quickly become one of the leading labels in the Breaks scene. Now with over 300 releases, Diesel has worked with some of the top producers and DJ’s in Breaks as well as being featured in Film and commercials. The label covers a wide spectrum of breaks and occasionally throws in other electronic genres for good measure. You can listen to Diesel Recordings releases on its monthly radio show on Cutters Choice Radio. Diesel has already hosted several Live and online events and over the coming years we hope to be able to push this even further.

For quieter, chillout moments expect a multi-genre journey of progressive & melodic grooves.

Her friends christened her OllyPollyGroover many years ago coz of her dancefloor energy (abbreviated to O.P.Groover to fit on flyers!) and now O.P.Groover has been dj-ing for 20 years.  Her music influences began with 90's rave soundsystems & the legendary Eargasm breakbeat nights at Fabric in the 00's. Olly has DJ'ed at Boomtown Fair, Meadowlands Festival, Glastonbury Festival bars & Glastonbury Hive Stage, Minotaur Sound Bristol, SoGroovy Peckham, Rye Wax Peckham, Rumpus at Elektrowerks London, TheMarquis London, FORGE Warehouse Sheffield and at Brixton Courtyard, O.P.Groover has supported the likes of Dusky, PlumpDJ's, KraftyKuts.                            KOM started playing guitar at age 12, and later studied music theory at Chapman University.  A fascination  with harmonic progressions and the way chords relate to one another lead to the study of jazz and a deep understanding of chordal progressions.  The "circle of fifths" enlightened her to the infinite number of chordal combinations that go into constructing good music. KOM wrote a number of progressions on  guitar based on what she had learned, but  found that her interest lied in seeking out those individuals who possess a natural talent for song writing.  Since Breaks, House, Funk, Bass, and sometimes Trance are what she is drawn to, she spends countless hours attempting to find the rare individuals who have combined a basic understanding of composition, with the knowledge and skills of the electronic music medium.  To me, nothing is more beautiful than when those two worlds come together.  She feels it is her personal responsibility, to draw out such individuals and promote them to the best of her ability.

Bio: 
Originally from Poland, now residing in the UK, Bassica (real name Sylwia) is a DJ and a label owner. With a passion for Breakbeat Bassica can be heard spinning her energetic and bass heavy style on her biweekly radio shows Diesel Power and Break Tech on Cutters Choice Radio. She has hosted Diablo Loco and Deep Garnet radio show for 8 years and more recently a show for her own Breakbeat label, Diesel Recordings. The label has already had a great number of successes releasing tracks from many of the scene’s top artists and regularly appearing in the Breaks Top 100 Tracks and Releases charts, as well as being featured in Film and commercials. After over a decade of DJing Bassica is showing no signs of slowing down and will continue to deliver the hottest new tracks in Breaks as well as some live events in the near future.
