Following up to his 2020 EP “No matter who I’m” that saw him debuting to much acclaim on Idriss D’s label, the talented producer returns to what he does best. “Control” is an energetic, stripped down groovy Chicago House-inspired number, with an infectious bassline and robotic vocal samples. “Dance” opens with a steady beat and flows with a crescendo of synth arpeggios that create a hypnotic mood. “Dreaming” speeds up the tempo with plenty of jacking snares and sounds from outer space. Title track “Wild” is upbeat and pumping, its swinging melody a catchy ear candy for the most discerning dance floor connoisseurs. “The night is my house” closes off the release as the digital bonus: loopy vocal snippets and an old school big room melody take it up a notch, ending the EP on a high note.

If you've been following our recent releases, you'll already be acquainted with Klix's exceptional talent. Once again, he demonstrates his prowess as a premier producer.

Today, we take immense pride in unveiling his latest Producer-Mix, a compilation where every single track is a testament to Klix's relentless dedication in his studio. He has invested countless hours perfecting his craft, creating a treasure trove of unreleased gems. Stay tuned, as you're bound to hear some of these tracks in our upcoming releases.

Klix's artistic focus revolves around deconstructing the various elements of house music, drawing inspiration from minimalism, breakbeats, electro, and trance. Both in his DJ sets and productions, Sebastian showcases his musical intelligence and meticulous attention to detail. His work is characterized by tender chords, playful breaks, subtle vocal nuances, and an irresistible groove.

As of today, Klix calls Berlin home, where he contributes his expertise to the renowned record shop owned by Dana Ruh, known as @60waves. He is also a co-founder of the esteemed @Breidenbach Label in Southern Germany and actively participates in events organized by @Heavy Rotation.

To abate the impending Winter gloom, we bring you the 6th edition in our budding mix series courtesy of the Depth Over Distance imprint. Founded by members of the previously successful SEKOIA Collective, this independent label has gone from strength to strength in its hometown of Amsterdam (via Utrecht) in the last few years. 

Whether they’re hosting parties and playing intoxicating sets at the likes of Marktkantine and Radion - or releasing house and minimal with a retro-futuristic art aesthetic as portrayed via the beautiful marbled vinyl of DOD444 – the trio are continually pushing the envelope and making sure their voices are heard. 

Their superb musical offering consists of a fine-tuned blend of high calibre records, assimilated flawlessly into a single piece of auditory beauty. There’s even some forthcoming stuff from the label, cos they’re nice like that!
