Crossing the Rubicon is a progressive instrumental band that fuses the intensity of metal with the fluidity of jazz and fusion. Founded by guitarist and composer Alejandro in Dayton, Ohio, the project began as a solo endeavor and has grown into a full ensemble defined by complex rhythms, soaring melodies, and the unmistakable voice of the saxophone within modern progressive soundscapes.

Since its early releases (Ascension, Bloom, Matter), the band has pushed boundaries with genre-bending compositions that combine the heaviness of Meshuggah, the harmonic sophistication of Plini, and the groove of Animals as Leaders. Along the way, Crossing the Rubicon has shared the stage with national acts such as Yngwie Malmsteen and earned recognition from publications including It Djents (now Everything Is Noise) and Prog Sphere.

After years of evolution, lineup changes, and experimentation, the group entered a new era in 2024 with a revitalized roster:

Together, this lineup is preparing the forthcoming concept album Knowledge (2025). The record represents both a reinvention and a culmination of the band’s journey, exploring themes of transformation and identity through a progressive metal lens while blending influences from deathcore, funk, avant-garde jazz, and beyond into a cohesive sonic narrative.

With dynamic compositions that shift between technical precision and melodic introspection, Crossing the Rubicon creates music that is both cerebral and visceral. Arion of Corinth is a post rock project from Jonathan Chun of Goodthink and Prevenge.

Chaoskampf started in 2011 initially as a solo project of Onkar Tarkase and now consists of Shreyas Kandekar on vocals and lyrics , Varun Varma on guitars and Abhishek Mujhumdar on drums and Harish Lanka on bass guitar.
The band was launched with a view to introduce a certain change in the generic metal stream. With crisp melodic riffage, intricate drum patterns and aggressive vocals, the music does not pretend to take you on any dramatic rides or introduce you to the overtly disturbed-childhood syndrome.., instead.., only a sincere attempt at making the listeners enjoy the onslaught of pure fucking metal ! !
