We are all the product of our influences and there is no substitute for experience. Damon Jee is the embodiment of that statement. Over the last 20 years he has carved a career in a very unassuming way, unintentionally writing an exciting new chapter for the global electronic music scene. He is the journeyman who managed to shine brighter by staying true to himself, a musical alchemist experimenting with different sounds to create a deadly new potion. Today, the producer is considered the main exponent of a fresh and exciting new scene many are calling Dark Disco. 

Getting his start in the studio alongside fellow Frenchman Olivier Giacomotto, the duo became main players on the then booming electro house scene with an impressive run of productions on labels like Definitive and CR2. As he started producing more solo works, Jee naturally veered towards his rebellious heritage growing up on nineties rock and industrial bands like Nine Inch Nails, The Pixies, Nirvana and more. The organic appeal of live rock seeped into his productions: distorted guitars gliding atop fat, off-beat and two-fingered picked bass, all framed within a foundation of percussion and drums that carries Damon Jee’s immaculately engineered and distinct sound. The music he released under his NOZZ moniker is especially steeped in this unique and heavy-duty sound: powerful productions which doubles up as heat seeking missiles aimed straight at the heart of any dancefloor.

It was his remix of Pardon Moi’s ‘Power to the People’ that really pushed the affable Frenchman to  a wider audience. It has it all: trance melodies and cosmic chords, a confidant rock stomp coiled with electronic euphoria, and robotic vocals gleefully riding a wave of energetic drums. It received support from the world’s best tastemakers including Solomun, Job Jobse and HAAi, introducing Damon Jee to a brand new audience. 

Today his singular sound can be heard on the underground’s most sought-after labels including Roam, Hafendisko, Suara and Sincopat to name a few. Huge support came in the form of Jennifer Cardini who signed his massive three track Chamaniac EP to her Correspondant Records. Its appeal reaching wide, the EP received support from various corners of the electronic music sphere with a diverse group of DJs from Andrew Weatherall to Chris Liebing to Joris Voorn all getting around it.

The natural evolution of Damon Jee has lead to the recent launch of his label, Critical Monday. The new imprint will explore Damon Jee’s idiosyncratic sound even further. The first release under his Holographic Planes moniker, alongside producer Alvaro Cabana, is a three track dance floor bomb featuring an equally effective remix from Jennifer Cardini. With upcoming releases from Curses, Autarkic, Fairmont, and, of course, Damon Jee, the label is set to become a go-to for those looking to ignite any dancefloor.

Today Damon Jee is slotting perfectly into his role as a bona fide headliner. Years of experience ensures each set is delivered with a confidant ease and professionalism that sets him apart from the rest. Retro Roland Riso, has over 25 years of club experience behind the decks, with a true passion for all things funky, filled with soul and truly groovy.

As a toddler, he'd spend countless hours enjoying his parents' eclectic record cabinet; listening to artists such as The Beatles, Sergio Mendes, Sly & The Family Stone, The Turtles, Taj Mahal, even The Osmonds and Bay City Rollers.  Little did his folks realize, Roland snagged a few of those gems over the years to add to his impressive collection.  

While fully immersed in listening to music, he began learning piano at 6 years old, which inevitably launched his love to create and produce.

Once considered the "Hardest Working DJ in Philly", Retro Roland was spinning 5-6 residencies on a weekly basis, including a highly regarded internet radio show, "Sounds of The True School".  During his 4 year run, Mr. Riso's guests included Ursula Rucker, The Last Emperor, Rich Medina and Mpozi Tolbert.

He also ran a successful monthly Jazz and Soul Record Show, which was widely popular amongst record collectors, DJ's and producers, including Cash Money, Jazzy Jeff and Quest Love.

Riso also helped engineer Cozmic Cat's legendary Philadelphia party, "Groove Lounge", which brought musicians, vocalists and DJ's a platform to perform in united, rhythmic harmony, which featured a then unknown, Jill Scott.

As an URB Magazine mixtape runner-up, The Soul Provider has shared the bill with incredible performers, including Afrika Bambaataa, Felix Da Housecat, Dubtribe, King Britt, DJ Craze, Vikter Duplaix, house pioneer Robert Owens and the legendary Barbara Tucker.  He recently opened up for Grammy nominated artist, Flo-Rida.

A number of Retro's remixes are in regular rotation on The Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show, featured on BBC Radio 6, with funk 45 releases on Matasuna Records.  Plus, Roland hosts a weekly music broadcast, The FunkBro Show, on RadioActiveFM.

Notorious for working the crowd and rocking the dance floor, Riso maximizes every opportunity to drop a funky "Retro Roland Riso" remix, morphing the room into a sweaty, swanky frenzy!

Dj Effendi appeared in clubs in 1996. After countless DJ successes he has been making his own mashups and bootlegs since 2004. Over the years he performed not only at the most famous festivals (Sziget Festival, VOLT Festival, Balaton Sound, etc.) and clubs, but also gradually worked on more and more musical releases.
In recent years, his songs and remixes have been released under the worldwide renowned Pornostar Records and the Tactical Group.
In 2023 he was nominated in the 'Producer of the Year' category in the voting of the Hungarian Producer and DJ Association.
He has 2 gold records in Hungary which he received after the sales of the 'Juventus Party 2005' and 'Jazzy Lounge' continous mix.
His sets are tastefully full of energetic house music and popular nu-disco songs or re edits.

Mattewave is a Brazilian DJ and music producer who was born in Porto Alegre, RS, Brazil, and currently resides in Porto, Portugal. Mattewave has a loyal following who identify with his style. He brings old hits back with new, trendy and upbeat rhythms that will make you groove. Keyboards, synthesizers, a bit of Disco Music and Rock n' Roll are always present in his mixes.
His music and stage presence keep the crowd moving on the dance floor and this is what Mattewave is known for.

Mattewave began like most DJs, playing at small parties while slowly conquering his fan base and finding his place in the music scene.
The ultimate goal is to touch the minds and hearts of people through his music.

In the past, while performing under a previous name, he shared the stage with Brazilian singers and bands, as well as other Brazilian and Canadian DJs. Now, going by the name Mattewave, he has had the pleasure of performing twice at Brazilian Day in Toronto, Brazil Fest, various NYE parties both in Brazil and in Canada and has also played at nightclubs like Fiction, Cabana Pool Bar and other venues outside of Toronto.  As a music producer, he has songs on Spotify, SoundCloud and has collaborated with other producers (Carol Jiani, Brannco, Guz Zonotto, Fred Neumann, Camila Farah, Angela Angel…)

The sky is the limit… music has no boarders and artists should always earn the respect of their fans.
