Inspired by his mom’s radio songs, perhaps unconsciously, Marko aka Resilient kept the sound of the 80s / 90s to this day. He didn’t grow up with vinyl and didn’t start DJing when he was 10 years old. Despite this, during his childhood he used to flee from piano accordion classes, only to compose at home. Since then, he has been in love with tremolo effects, organ synths, and vocal flaws in order to evoke the vibe of a famous “Top Gun” movie soundtrack. Member from Berlin, instead of recordings; Deep House Craft (South Africa); Based in Hamburg – Neele Records; Based in Munich: Karmaloft Music, Affect Recordings & Affekt Reaktion and also founder of Beat Sound Visions (worldwide). He is an inhabitant of the world where human dreams play a crucial role. A versatile multi-genre electronic music player.

A special gift for our Soundcloud page hitting the 7000 followers marker is a rework of one of the biggest club anthems of all time as Essex based producer and emerging talent delivers this breaks fuelled rework of The Source featuring Candi Staton "You Got The Love". Darkersound (aka Russ Pattison) is one to watch in 2021 who let's his music do the talking, just the way we like it. After two releases on Ibiza based Voodoo & Prayers and three remixes for Stripped Recordings (two) and Stripped Digital (one), He is on the verge of releasing his first single on Stripped Recordings entitled "Through The Night" (Release Date: February 26, 2021) taken from a forthcoming album later this year.

Dance music is a great leveller, it doesn’t matter where you’re from, what place you call home or indeed which electronic cabaret you shake your hips at, the music will always draw people together. Brent Lawson understands this better than many. Growing up in the wilds of Eastern Scotland and now working as a Planner, dance music is his passion; his escape; his level playing field.  

 

Raised on a steady diet of 80s synth music, Brent has always had one foot on the dance floor. A clubber first, it was a fateful trip to nearby Arbroath that first opened his mind to the possibilities of electronic music as a DJ: “I had a love for the electronic sounds created by Jean Michele Jarre from that point I was drawn into electronic music.” He says, citing the Rhumba Club a favourite venue from his youth, “This night has informed so many years of my clubbing history and is responsible for everything that I have done and will do.”  

 

The late Nineties were a fertile time for those venturing into DJing. And for Brent, gigs came quickly progressing him up the ladder but he soon found the pressures of family life meant he needed to concentrate on providing a stable environment for his children. Now his kids are grown, Brent is free to refocus on his music and his company Probtech Management, bringing with him the skills of his day job.  
 
Comprised of two record labels and an Artist management, Probtech is a business on the up. Recent additions to the company is Michael Tinder AKA Micke, Michael is taking up the role as A&R for Pro B Tech Music and North American Director for artist management, this shows just how serious Brent takes his brand and processes are in place to put Probtech in the same ballpark as the Bedrock’s, Drumcode’s and Toolroom’s of the industry.  

 

On top of his own work with the Pro B group, Brent has taken up a new role with MOAI Spain as the U.K. and Ireland consultant, he is also a director and resident of AATM Radio, resident of Music Is The Answer Dundee, Proton Radio Monthly resident, and soon to be taking on a new residency with Beach Radio. 

 

At heart Brent is a DJ who just loves to share his passion for the music with his audience. Resident at one of Dundee’s premiere nights - Music is The Answer - he regularly rubs shoulders with the best DJs in the world. Brent is also making his first forays into the production world with a few releases under his belt, including music with Hernan Cattaneo, Soundexile, Quivver, Blue Amazon and most recently a new released on Balkan Connections..
