Boris Rubin’s signature sound of deep, groovy melodies and hypnotic basslines come straight from a true passion of electronic music. “I simply enjoying it,” is his answer to the question on why he started DJing. You can definitely feel that passion whether he’s performing for an intimate crowd at Bangkok’s iconic underground club, Glow, or to a sea of comrades at some of Thailand’s premier festivals such as Kolour in the Park and Wonderfruit.

As part of the YIPPIEE label, Boris is no stranger to sharing the decks with artists like Oliver Huntemann, Mario Aureo, Danny Daze, and Sasha. Albeit not producing music himself, you can feel the adoration and infatuation he has for the sound. If you’re lucky enough to catch him at one of Thailand’s leading techno events or at Linden Lounge in his hometown of Hannover, Germany where he’s a yearly regular, you’ll quickly understand why Boris Rubin stands out on his own amongst the others.

"I'm simply enjoying it" - is Boris Rubin's answer on the question why he started DJing and you can definitely feel it when you're listening to his track selection. He's not a DJ whoes producing his own tracks and either a Producer who is DJing. He's simply a guy who felt in love with electronic music many years ago. 

With 'Guerilla Allstars" and "Schiesspistolenclub" stared everything back in Hannover (Germany) and in a shorten time his name became a meaning in the scene. He already played many gigs around Germany together with artists like Barem; Konrad Black, Jamy Wing, Wighnomy Brothers, Josh Wnk, Miss Fitz, Till von Sein, Chris Lattner, Gorge and many many more.
