This House Groove returns after nearly 6 months off. Moving forward we will be bringing you more regular drops so don't forget to like the playlist and turn notifications on!

This edition is a tale of two halves, coming out of the starting blocks with deep & rolling house laced with elements of jazz and soul. This sound is ever growing on us and you will find much more of this moving forward. Featured is a double header from Brooklyn Baby on GLBDOM, Dutch deep house talent Retromigration, Crackazat remixes Alma Negra on Heist, powerful vocal deep house on Freerange and some jazzy vocal fusion from Felipe Gordon & Cody Currie on Shall Not Fade!

The second half steps up the pace to bring you a more fundamental bumpy & 4/4 vibe with a brand new release from Saison and tracks from Tom Jay, Intr0beatz, Hurlee, Carlo, Laurence Guy & a gospel piano stomper from Floorplan to close! Labels featured include Classic Music Company, ESUOH, Peking House, Moment Cinetique & Aterral.

We have also took the opportunity to spin a disco infused house stomper from Jackmaster & Jasper James which is a free download made in a hotel room in Ibiza a few years back! I was introduced to this track by Mighty Mouse and Lord was I happy when I found it!

Our radio show kicked off a feature called 'Label Focus'. During this feature we showcase 3 records from a label that we absolutely love! Its often so very difficult to limit the track selection to 3, as most of these labels have an incredible catalogue of music!

Enter the label focus mix series! Moving forward we will be picking incredible labels, rummaging through their catalogue and blending the finest that they have to offer. We will then deliver it straight to your ears.

For our first ever edition we have chosen a phenomenal label based in Brooklyn, USA. Razor-N-Tape was fromed by JKriv & Aaron Dae and over the past few years has released music from heavyweights in the house & disco industry. What we particularly love about them is their diversity through sound where you will find everything from edits to peak time house pumpers!

For this 90 minute mix, we have leaned towards the white label disco & edits side of their collection. It includes 18 tracks that we have been playing over recent years and varies from readily available mp3 jams to the rarer wax only and limited time download records.

Starting in the low BPM's with some boogie and soul filled joints, this mix picks up traction to finish with some peak hour euphoric highs!

Enjoy some of the best from Razor-N-Tape and no doubt we will be back to revisit some of the other side of their catalogue soon!
