Gravitrax, known for his collaboration with LSDREAM (EXPAND THE UNIVERSE), has teamed up with Atlas.B to present an out of this world tune titled, “It Was All A Dream”. There is an obvious thematic astral connection between the producers and through mutual inspiration, this became an effortless funk hit, full of wubs and the classic iconic sample from The Notorious B.I.G. – Juicy! “Atlas.B has infinite potential with solid roots in funk and a recognizable sound, in his ability to record, manipulate, and create samples from anywhere in space-time. The initial funk sample he sent me really got my attention and I just knew it had to become a full tune with both our sounds. It felt transcendent in the studio as it came together. An original with a sample from Biggie, so we decided to make this a free download on SoundCloud and Audius for everyone! I’m super happy with the final tune, in having an awesome retro vibe but with a futuristic bass flow. Always crossing the boundaries of space-time. And I’m happy to present the video trailer to go with it! This is leading up to a major game release. It’s looking to be a truly amazing year full of new music and new cities. Sonic manipulator Maxfield is back with his newest release, Under the Pink Umbrella. His latest EP merges the worlds of funk and glitch hop into one harmonious union, with one heavy hitting track after the next. This Boston local pairs upbeat dance music with low end wonkiness, smashing genres together and keeping crowds moving. A chilled out break in the madness comes in the track “Spooky Bigheat,” but it still stays true to the EP’s funky, glitchy nature. From his unique track names to his experimental production style, Maxfield’s signature style is undeniable.
