New Strat Jam

This is a demo of a song I wrote and produced in my living room using a keyboard, a guitar and a microphone cause I'm broke :P. It's called "Summer Time". It's actually my first attempt at making a poppy, catchy, dance, whatever type song :). I tried to incorporate elements of  mainstream catchy pop stuff so that it can be enjoyed by a general audience. However, I'm a metal head at heart! Hence, the electric guitar incorporated to add that rock feel! I suppose you can say it's an attempt to get the kids listening to a more diverse sound than what's typically heard mainstream. I feel its all Hip Hop/R&B, Pop, Dubstep/House, Country and Classic Rock, all as separate, feuding entities. I'd like to kind of clash it all together and get some diversity in the mix. I'm pretty proud of the result :). Yes, this has a pretty mainstream feel as well but its my first attempt at something outside of my punk/metal roots and I hope you enjoy! P.S. Please pardon the off point vocals :p. This entire song is going to be re-done as this is just the demo. I just kind of wanted to hear it more so than get it perfect. KEEP AN EYE OUT FOR AN UPDATE!! Party on :P

What's going on guys! My name's Brian Lee Chee and I'm a singer/songwriter. On my page you'll see a few demos and incomplete works, experimental tracks and basically me messing around with my gear, testing my engineering abilities.

My influences stem from metal and punk, but i mess around with rap beats, pop songs and all types of things. I just like making things I like, and hopefully you guys hear a few things you like too!! More to come! Keep on visiting :D
