2)Glitch Section
This was an offshoot from a pieces made for HearSay Audio Arts Festival 2015, where a blind folded audience was treated to a beer tasting accompanied by sound. The sharp, high sounds lent a more crisp, fresh taste to the beer. While squelchy, bassy sounds gave more richness and depth to the flavour.

3)Synth Drone
An improvisation on a "synthesizer guitar". I built this instrument for a piece called "The Uncooperative Cooperator", which toured the UK and Ireland in 2019. In that piece it was accompanied by sonified plant data, brain waves, and live MaxMSP manipulation. Here, it is heard solo.

4)Computer Cake (Plato on Venus)
An unsettling composition, based on the idea of cognitive dissonance. Rising Shepard tones and sonified spectrographs made an eerie background for digital melodies and percussion. Improvisation on analogue synthesizer creates a broad range of sounds. The synth used is the CSM1000 which I built in 2012.

5)Synth Guitar
I modified an electric guitar, for Jesse Hallaway in 2012, to contain an analogue synthesizer.  Extra knobs and switches give it a huge range of oscillations, from metronome BPMs to super sonics. Retaining the function of a guitar allows for great artistic expression!
