My set from the RS event at Chabot Space and Science Center in Oakland, California. Pretty amazing event! I played from 1:15 am to 2:30 am to a packed raging dancefloor at a planetarium. This set is full of classic progressive house as well as modern tunes from the underground to the above ground, whatever sounded good and whatever fit was fair game! Had a lot of fun playing it and the dancefloor seemed to dig it too! :) Hope you enjoy :)

Soul Shakedown

A fantastic time slot on an awesome stage during a beautiful sunset - it'll be hard to beat what was another amazing Seismic performance this year! Despite our tastes diverging slightly over the past year, collaborating with Colton for this set resulted in a really lovely set spanning many genres. I played all Kai Castro originals and remixes in my half of the set, including a special punk-rock-house edit that I was a bit nervous about breaking out!

No one knows where Rïa is really from. Currently based in NYC, her multicultural roots come from growing up in Sri Lanka, London, Dubai & India.

When curating a set, Rïa's focus is always on her audience: she loves making them dance, taking them on a journey fused with eclectic sounds that hint at her diverse upbringing - resulting in sets that range from melodic techno to ethnic deep house. Ultimately, her vision is to bring that same multifaceted groove to her music productions, and to interloop different musical boundaries with emotion.

I'm happy to share my set from our flagship Opulent Temple White Party in San Francisco this past Saturday April 1.  I can say without exaggeration that it was our best White Party yet; everything was beautiful... the production, decor, visuals, music, costumes, people and the elevated vibes all night long. I played at 1AM after Syd Gris and loved looking out to the sea of friends and dear ones dressed in their fabulous whites. It was truly a special and spectacular night, if you missed it you can catch some of the magic in this set. 

For the last 16 years, I've been grateful to call Opulent Temple my family and home on the playa.  The magic and joy that we co-create together as a labor of love is truly special and unrivaled by any other endeavor in my life.  <3

Brian Peek, 10 year resident DJ and core member with Opulent Temple, is no newcomer to the industry.  Rocking prime size crowds in San Francisco and across the West Coast since 2003, Brian focuses on mixing the highest quality of tunes across his full range of groove-centric bass line tech house, filtered house, & chilled downtempo.  

Starting out hosting his own weekly radio show on his college radio station.  Soon after, he began promoting regular events with Thump Radio and producing syndicated radio shows for commercial FM, XM Satellite, and podcasts.  In 2009, he was invited to join Opulent Temple, including a prestigious DJ residency and contributions to artistic metal fabrications for the longest running large scale sound camp in Burning Man history.  In addition, he plays a significant role as executive producer of the Opulent Temple Podcast.  

Without a doubt, Brian Peek as a DJ & radio producer taste maker delivers the full package in skill, talent, and undeniable passion for all flavors of electronic music.
