After migrating to the US in 1980, she began spinning records while in college, focusing on reggae and Caribbean clubs in Atlanta. Thriving in the underground house music scene, she gained residencies and worked with legends. CEO of The House of Distinction, Debbie hosts Trancen:Dance, supporting local talent and charitable causes. She’s releasing new tracks and an EP slated for late 2024.

This is a special episode because it's my first live recording from ADE (the @amsterdamdanceevent for the uninitiated) and secondly, after all, my guest is @josh_caffe, a multidisciplinary artist, musician, DJ and one of the frontman for house music duo @paranoid_london .
We were both resident DJs at the seminal east London club Trailer Trash, and Josh will soon release on my record label, @polari.records! The upcoming Polari Records party at Panorama Bar is also Josh's EP release party! X

Christo comes to you with massive amounts of love and decades of experience playing and dancing on floors throughout the Southeast, New York and Berlin. An Atlanta native, Christo pulls his inspirations from growing up going to big room raves and gay clubs in the late 90’s and early 00’s, with his love of trance, queer sexual freedom, 90’s production sensibilities, and long form rhythmic builds.  His open format sound will push and pull you to euphoric highs, unrelenting percussive tunnels, and left-field sonic infusions that feel worldly and environmental. Christo has been actively designing for musicians and Dj’s for over 15 years and has been behind some small but mighty events such as Connector, Techno Breakfast, etc. Currently Christo is working on opening a venue in Chattanooga, Tennessee to offer a place for the sound to sit dead center in the Southeastern United States.

Co-founder of Lindo, a monthly techno series and resident at Philadelphia’s only music first nightclub, Void, they seek to amplify queer + trans people of color on and off the dance floor alongside their musical partners Chancleta and Vicenta.
