Everybody knows that I love to play with my Israeli tribe. This event was extra special for multiple reasons. Firstly it was to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of our beloved Zenon Records, which meant I got to catch-up and perform with my brothers and sisters from around the world and rejoice in the sands of the desert. 

Next it was to reconnect with my Israeli family that I hadn’t seen since before Covid. Much fun was had before and at this festival. Lastly it was to close off an extraordinary World Tour. Gallivanting across many countries and continents, performing my craft and meeting new people.

A huge thank you to the ZenZone crew for putting this fantastic event together, despite any challenges before or after.  What you created was magical and a moment that will never be forgotten. So thank you again. I can't wait to return and kick up some sand with my chosen family.

This live-recorded mix captures the shifting moods from day to night, featuring selections from his debut album on Universal Tribe Records, woven together with unreleased work and all-time favourite originals. POTENTIA is a producer based in the Northern Rivers of New South Wales, Australia. His sound blends psychedelic elements with deep, progressive rhythms and intricate sound design. PROMETHEYA | Mystic Sound Records Series ep. 105 |

This is my set from the 2017 Psytribe Halloween Freakshow festival in Southern California. This was the first time ever that the Psytribe party continued through Sunday night into Monday, and I was very honored to be one of the first DJs to perform on a Sunday night to a packed dancefloor. I played after a techno set by the legendary Dimitri Nakov, and started at 125bpm, with some deep techno. But quickly realized that the crowd wanted me to switch over to psytrance, so I sped things up and went into some banging progressive psy, and then transitioned into some solid full-on psychedelic trance for the rest of the set at 142bpm. It was a super fun set to play, and the feedback from the dancefloor was electric. Hope you enjoy listening to it!

Label administrator and resident DJ of Zero One Music, Brian Sentient hails from Los Angeles, California, where he has been one of the top psytrance DJs for many years. He started DJing in San Francisco in 2001, with the legendary (((Thump))) crew. Since then, he has been deeply involved in the psychedelic trance community of California, and has also brought his DJing to a global audience, not only as a psytrance DJ, but also playing a mesh of techno/tech-house for gigs that require a slower BPM.

He has had the pleasure of playing on the main stages of some of the biggest psychedelic festivals, clubs, and events in the world. Places such as: Origin festival in South Africa, Ozora festival in Hungary, Boom festival in Portugal, Brazil's Universo Paralello festival, Quebec's Eclipse festival, Las Vegas's Electric Daisy Carnival,  Lightning in a Bottle festival in California, all over Goa, India, and also the awe-inspiring Burning Man festival. 

Before Zero One, he was a label DJ for Alchemy Records in the mid-to-late 2000's, and then joined with Spun Records in 2010 and released his first compilation, "Be Spun", which included some of the biggest dance floor tracks of that year. At the end of 2011, he and the rest of the Zero One crew formed Zero One Music, and Brian has been rocking the world with amazing music ever since, continuing to convert the masses to the psychedelic trance world with his special ability of showcasing user-friendly, groovy, uplifting, and melodic (yet always psychedelic) music.
