Two years after our last release, the repression, bans and closures related to the health crisis have become unbearable. Following surreal government injunctions such as the ban on group dancing, we felt the need to bring artists together to compile a compilation for a return to our essence, the fundamental importance of being together and saturation of the senses are palpable.

This feeling of renewal is similar to the arrival of spring after winter, or a cry of joy to celebrate the sensory experience of a club and remember that our bodies need to dance and release to find balance and harmony with the world.

The compilation will open a dialogue on human trance rituals.

We propose to 12 artists to be part of an adventure that brings to light a new era of club culture. Let's open a new chapter together, where all kinds of musical eccentricities are allowed, where we free ourselves from the rules of the world before.

Pill Testing are Phill Thomson (Nam Shub of Enki/Monster Zoku Onsomb) & James Bullen (Sonic Acid). Hailing from Brisbane/Meanjin Australia they began collaborating in the mid 2010s with a passion for raw noisy techno. Making all their tunes from live jams using classic analog gear - they released their first album “QLDXBERG” on Gastric Acid records.

In response to Australia’s extremist pentecostal Govt - the Hill Song Church -Pill Testing have dedicated their new album “PILL SONG” to our born again religious overlords.

PILL SONG is a tongue in cheek slab of dance floor weight with raw techno slammers and full-bore rave epics.

The Los Angeles producer follows the release of her 2021 EP, ‘Total Chaos’, on John Frusciante and Aura T-09’s Evar Records with three cuts of slamming peak-time techno. Tough, jacking beats, full-pelt kicks and maximal rave sonics erupt without too much ceremony, ready to take on dark basement dancefloors or immense warehouse festival stages. 

‘Dots For Dummies’ in particular goes off like a rogue firework. Capped off with a turbocharged remix of the title track from DJ Girl, this release hits hard, and is not for the faint of heart.

Togo is an electronic music producer and DJ from Mongolia. Founding member and resident of the brand new Local Slang collective.
Having immediately loved music during his pre-adolescence, he draws inspiration from what he hears around him, opening the doors to different musical universes. Thus, he experimented with his first musical productions on Fruity Loops at the age of 15. And since then, he has still not turned his back on musical production, feeding on compositions of all kinds, experimenting with several styles from club & bass music to experimental electronic sounds, he now continues in a direction of musical research, textures with a perpetual desire to renew himself. Its first EP called Urtica will probably see the light of day at the end of 2022.

This track is part of the second Festopolis release, which promotes Brussels' local scene, with 8 other tracks, from Electro to Trance, Techno or even Jungle…
Festopolis is about celebrating local talents and diversity. They organize events and release music, trying to propose original music from artists with different musical genres, with a special taste for break rhythms."
