The 'Betrayal EP' is a look through the Manchester-based producer's impulsive sound which has all the elements needed to effortlessly glide over different corners of the spectrum. There's also a family connection rounding off the EP with Response teaming up with his brother Pliskin for the eloquent sounds of 'The Pusher'.

Hot on the heels of the recently released Mind State Ep, Dan Guidance and Fishy return to Offworld Recordings with another dose of deep and dreamlike drum and bass.  
Leaving The Body startsa the listener off with a lesson in aural astral projection showcasing a rumbling bassline alongside exquisite atmospheres. Next up is Tides, an orchestral endeavor with driving bass amidst celestial vocals and lush pads. 210121 continues the sublime synthwork and racing rhythms while Future Funk closes out the ep in fine style.
This duo has captured lightning in a bottle here with a colossal collection of songs that are cutting edge yet but timeless.

Welcome to Project Mohawk.

It all started out as a codename for a collection of tracks we’d signed from a select group of talented emerging artists, each with their own distinct sound and style of production. As the idea took shape, so the quantity and quality of the music grew, culminating in a commitment to nine separate EP releases. From that point forth our aim was to come up with a twist whereby each release could stand out in its own right, but also form a part of something bigger... 


So along with the usual digital download components, each release will have its own limited edition lathe cut 10” vinyl dubplate featuring our two favourite tracks, lovingly presented in a hand made and numbered ‘jigsaw of art’ card sleeve. Collect all 9 dubplates and arrange the sleeves in a certain order to solve the puzzle and reveal a single larger image.
 
But it doesn’t stop there…

Those purchasing the vinyl will also get a selection of exclusive bonuses, such as a free WAV download of all tracks on the same release, plus bonus tracks that will not be made available on the digital release, and the odd Project Mohawk sticker thrown in for good measure. Without doubt, this is a unique musical compilation to be collected, enjoyed and treasured for many years to come.

With a raft of excellent music already accumulated, we move on to the penultimate release in our Project Mohawk series, with our 8th instalment only adding to the quality that has gone before.

Odd Harmonics may be a new name to some, but being one quarter of the highly regarded G.H.O.S.T outfit should set the scene on what sort of EP you can expect. With the full crew on board for the retro Virus-Esque roller that is Orbiter, and our own label boss Tony Consort on colab duties for edgy & minimalistic Middle Ground, this release retains the funk and old skool production values that so many still crave in the drum & bass scene today.  

With a selection of tracks that fully hit the mark, yet each offering something a little different, Odd Harmonics lays down a marker as solo producer of note in his own right.

Previously dubbed the "silent assassin" of the Metalheadz camp by Goldie himself, Mikal's music has always been characterised by quality over quantity. The Swedish born, now Bristol-based producer, has the ability to keep his head down in the studio only surfacing when he's satisfied and fulfilled with his sonic creations, something he's held in high esteem for throughout the genre.

His second album on Metalheadz is aptly titled 'Metalwork' and it comes 4 and half years after 'Wilderness', his debut album labelled a "true expedition" by Mixmag and an example of "precision-engineered drum & bass" by Juno. Just like the first album 'Metalwork' contains 16 thunderous tracks, from the opening track 'Journey Into The Reverb' which comes dubbed out and perforated with amen snippets, to the tumultuous temperament of 'Breaks & Pads' which is an instant Metalheadz hit and a linchpin to the whole project.

Collaborations are loosely scattered but perfectly placed as the likes of Visionobi, DJ Thor and RIOT (who has featured on 2 previous Mikal releases) are added into the mix, but for the majority of the album this is Mikal doing what he does best, flaunting his production skills and firmly justifying his position on the label.
