Exhausted Modern is a Prague based DJ and producer and a half of a well-known Endless Illusion label. Having had a recent release on brokntoys, he comes back with a new EP on Rotterdam Electronix.  In his own words, “taken from the EP "Happy Hertz Club Banned" coming on Rotterdam Electronix later this month, the record kicks off with an extended acid injected electro track called ''All Things Are Possible’’. While playing with the term of motivational spirituality, we’re getting put in a contrast with dystopian vibe of the track."
The record is available on Rotterdam Electronix, by the end of December.

The first Lux Rec release after summer is a split EP that puts together two musicians from different regions, different backgrounds. On the A side there’s an old acquaintance of the label, Kinder aus Asbest, with Life after Death and Washed Away. As hopeless as it gets. On the B side there’s Rosa Nebel, and upcoming artist from Austria that matches perfectly, with his dystopian views on society, the core dissatisfaction for humankind that Lux Rec has.

Weirdo On The Dancefloor

@exhausted-modern continues his artistic journey with the release of the Year of the Rat remixes EP, a collective reinterpretation that takes the murky, hidden depths of the album to new rhythmic dimensions.

Philipp Otterbach (@philipp-otterbach) starts off the A-side with a spellbinding composition for the thoughtful, dissolving Pineal Gland into an ethereal cluster of solemn melodies and vocals. Annechoic’s (@annechoic) take on Apathy Eats You Alive delves into the melodic side of the track, polishing it for the dance floor. Poperttelli (@poperttelli) draws out T-Maze from dark introspection to beats that waver between a glitch and a heartbeat, with the feeling of having been resuscitated.

The B-Side sees Ayaz (@yalanchi) putting words to a 180-degree spin on Food of the Gods with hallucinogenic dynamism: a grimy tale of facing the unavoidable. Finally, NVST (@ghettonast) returns with her Hifive remix of Hard Working Rats, oscillating between heavy and melancholic with soul-permeating resonance.
