Do you know that tipping point, when an average gathering at a bar turns into a dancing party? A few seconds ago, you´ve been mixed up in boring small talk, then you suddenly get distracted by unobtrusive but cheerful sounds that unwittingly make your head bob, let you turn around and at least let you unintentionally find yourself in a bunch of smiling and dancing people…. so, music can save the night - Freudenthalers “Bar Rescue EP” definitely does. It appears nonchalant and unexcited, but always with a compelling spell. 
With a touch of swing, a wobbling bass line and all the jazzy elements and cheering voices “The Swingers” gives that perfect vibe to really get a party going. “Worthy” is nearly cracking that harmony with raw, almost careless cut Afro Latin jazz samples, deep chords and spherical particles embedded, but a funky bass always keeps the easy vibe. “Lingerie” opens the flip-side with a tight beat, perfectly complemented with a noisy piano lick, strings, horns and some hip hop cuts. “Overseas Phone Number” then rounds out the release by featuring a swinging rhythm, lovely string pads, pleasant saxophone parts and paying tribute to a French rap classic. Altogether, you will answer it with a smile, for sure. With this in your bag, you´ll be prepared for toughest rescues!

The label’s co-founder and co-owner put together a stunning experimental mini LP called ‘Weeks’, which contains seven tracks, named after every day of the week from ‘Monday’ to ‘Sunday’.

Fresh off the back of his highly acclaimed debut album on Astral Black, Footshooter returns to the WOLF Music pack following his ethereal remix of Velour last year, with an exquisite six track journey through his signature sound.
An amalgamation of genres, ideas and vibes blend seamlessly together throughout the record, showing a wealth of knowledge, alongside a production prowess to match. From the cinematic opener ‘Welcome In’ to the soulful, synth-laden broken beat of ‘Turning’ and ‘Archetype 7’ on the A side. Samples dance next to magical playing and programming, with hats tipped to legends of yester year whilst keeping things completely fresh at the same time.
Flip it for the B, where UK Funky feels mix with bumping house for the fresh to death, dress to impress ‘Dojo’. Footshooter then dips the lights down low and and slows the tempo with the beatsy, piano shimmering brilliance of ‘Angel(s)’ and the eyes closed, soul healing sounds of ‘Hold On’.

'With Afterglow FM, I wanted to try something a little different to my releases over the last few years. Much of my music is based around collaboration and featuring artists, which I will always love, but I wanted to challenge myself to make a fully instrumental project. As this took me out of my comfort zone, I was able to push the sound a little deeper and wider than before, and this is the result. As with all of my projects, it's best played loud and all the way through from start to finish. I hope you enjoy tuning in.'
