Ok..I hadn't listened to the cult since like i was a kid around 12 yrs old or so....circa 1991 or so... I remember loving them but they didn't keep making music that i was able to know about back then..( if only i-tunes existed then, but we couldn't have afforded it..hahaha ) ..Anyways, IAN sent me this track that he recorded for a vocalist..i was first to be asked..i took him up..and a wonderful friendship..musicianship thingy was born! this guy fuckinn rules!!!!!!!!!!!!! the Cult singer always reminded me of JIM MORRISSON in his appearance and vocals....so, here is our collab:

Michael McKay Combs is a Veteran Singer songwriter who has played with many big names in the country and rock industry! Joining his first band at the age of 15, Combs took to the stage like an immediate pro! He fronted many rock bands early in his career and landed a development deal with a major label in 2003. After the band fell apart Combs moved to Nashville after graduating college and begin paying dues in the country world. While in Nashville Combs accomplished many things and landed a small publishing deal. Making many TV appearances and recording with some big name producers, Combs was well on his way to making a big name for himself. However, Combs mother would fall ill and after his last deal fell through, he returned back to KY. After a couple years out of the spot light, Combs begin writing again and is making a big comeback. The future is now looking up again for Combs and he doesnt plan on stopping any time soon.

Hey...Thanks for stopping by, I'm sure I've got something in my "Track List" that you will enjoy...From Reggae to Heavy Rock via Blues and I've even got a Retro TV Theme in there :)

Besides being taught the basic chords at the age of eight I am completely self taught. Sadly this also means that I don't read music, relying on my "ear" to pick out lines/playing styles/tracks etc :) But hey...I get by ok...don't I??? :)
