GET UP

Hello again...yes it’s time for us to bring forth our next offering, but this time we have the first lead vocal by Ria since joining us regularly.  We wanted a song which would not be readily associated with a female lead vocal, and nothing fits the bill better than George Harrison’s “While My Guitar Gently Weeps”.  This track first appeared on the 1968 double album called “The Beatles”, but better known as “The White Album”.  It is said that, although uncredited, the Lead Guitar double track is performed by George’s good friend Eric Clapton.  This could be backed up by the fact that Eric has performed this track on most live performances. We, however, have taken our own slant on this song.  We have tried to give it a more haunting, evocative start with Ian on piano, leading in to Rias’ first lead vocal on this, our as yet untitled new album.  Hope you like what we have done with it.
