ha ha.. Lord i love this!  And you know, it's not easy pull this kinda satirical writing off..  but it sounds warm and inviting, just enough to make it serious without being pretentious..  loved it! x

Was scrolling down the comments and discovered I made a comment from my repost page (now defunct...oh well...) about this having made me laugh out loud and it still does.  Witty and still pertinent!

A few years ago, one of our presidential candidates referred to those who had the audacity to vote for the other candidate as "Deplorables".   It occurred to me that my family and I might fall into that "deplorable" category, so I thought I would offer a little insight into the daily life of us deplorables, or at least the perception of us by many of the social / political elites.
