Hi everyone,

Quite different from what I've  uploaded up to now.
It all started on a lonely night. Just like that:

I don't remember though if I started the recordings and composing that same night.
The percussion at the beginning is actually done on the guitar (Classical guitar).
Everything was played and recorded. Except for the rising sounds.

CUEILLE LA NUIT

Qu'il est bon, tard le soir, avant de s'endormir
De laisser sa pensée vagabonder, s'enfuir,
Nous prendre sur ses ailes et, sans avis contraire,
Portée par un soupir, nous renvoyer en l'air :
Bien calé, bien au chaud de notre dormeveille,
Le temps suspend le viol de notre vie privée.
S'il est vrai que, souvent, la nuit porte conseil,
C'est peut-être, en partie, grâce à cette envolée.
		Dans le ciel étoilé de nos paupières closes,
La vie s'ouvre en pétales inondant notre esprit
De mille folles envies que d'habitude on n'ose
Divulguer au grand jour, tant on en est épris.

Tout est vraiment possible, on est seul maître à bord.
Pour cette traversée, l’équipage est en bas. 
Et la réalité du jour n'est plus alors
Qu'un lointain souvenir dans notre célibat.
Là, l’étoile filante d'un mot traversant
Une idée s’évapore en laissant derrière elle
La bienfaisante clé du problème en suspens
À nos yeux décillés par la clarté nouvelle.
On butine une idée, pivote sur un mot
Qui nous fait rebondir sur une idée voisine
Ou lointaine, attirée par le son crescendo
D'un scrupule infamant qu'un fantasme assassine.

On s’étonne à sourire, on est plein de brio.
On a au bout des doigts du monde la puissance,
Du moins le pense-t-on, jusqu’à l'ultime mot
Emportant avec lui notre ultime conscience.
Tous les temps se marient dans ce présent de trêve.
Le corps n'y est plus rien, et l'esprit, terrassé,
Réclame en paradis la liberté du rêve
Dans une chaude nuit que le jour a chassé.
C'est une drogue douce où l'on revient toujours,
La revanche assurée de pouvoir toujours vivre 
Une seconde vie, en fait, un contre-jour
Aux ennuis les plus lourds, comme un vin qui enivre.

Cueille ta nuit, ami, car avant de faner,
Si tu le veux vraiment, d'elle, tu peux apprendre.
C'est bien plus qu'un conseil, c'est un laissez-passer
Pour l’hygiène mentale, avant que de se rendre.
Car la nuit est l'appel de la grande aventure
Où l'on refait son monde, où l'on règle ses comptes
Sans provisions, sans lendemain, mais qui rassurent ;
Donnant de la mort un avant-goût, un acompte.
Mais, du calice à rêves bu jusqu’à la lie,
Un réveil insomniaque nous tire du lit,
Pour nous dire que la vie ne peut s'embellir
Qu'en bêchant notre terre, où nous irons dormir.

Berceuse pour adultes en réponse à Horace/Ronsard.
La dormeveille est un vieux mot du Moyen-Age désignant le moment entre la veille et l'endormissement où nous croyons pouvoir tenir le monde entre nos mots.
