Dirty Epic welcomes aboard Khidi resident @boyd-schidt-22 for its for fortieth episode of Amplify Series.

Leon Lolishvili a.k.a. Boyd Schidt is a georgian electoronic producer and DJ, better known as a half of the long-running techno duo Greenbeam & Leon. Boyd Schidt’s music is characterised by variety of musical selections from industrial techno to soft and melancholic sounds. Artist loves synthesising different kind of sounds, and his work has been released on labels such as: Studio R, WaveReform records, Subsist records and 2529 KM. In 2014, he released “Mornig Utopia” as a part of Studio R°’s “Various 003″, alongside Mike Parker, Brendon Moeller, Zadig, Exercise One, followed by next 12”, “Structure EP” on Waveform. Nowadays, Georgia’s techno pioneer is still actively engaged in the process of composing music and DJing around the world.

We pursue this special month with @purusha137.

Purusha is a Sanskrit word, meaning the inner light that exists within oneself. In order to express her true self that is not influenced by external thoughts, she is unraveling her own world through music.

Shamanic rhythms and ritual music are composing her sets mixed with techno, and each story is developed connects to the entire theme.

Purusha is also expanding her sonic range using her unique vocals, and is presenting her own music with a dreamy sound reminiscent of a kulning (Ancient herding call) and reciting magic.

Amplify Series 085 - Purusha [Volnost Special]

Zeitreise DJ Set @ SUBVERTED x Brutal Forms, OHM Berlin

@liineas_sound is a side project of techno artist Eve Schwarz. Inspired by a weekend at the Berlin music festival “Atonal” it emerged around 2018 focusing on soundscapes apart from the typical club tunes. Led by pure emotion and the intention to experiment it is based on industrial textures, drones, noises and cinematic ambients. While this year will reveal several studio productions on multiple labels, the future of LIIneas is intended to deliver hardware-based live performances. In the meantime her approach to club/DJ sets is to give them a very fluent live character, fusing hypnotic energies with driving drums and to create an unpredictable listening experience.

Claudia Kane is a music artist, music maker and DJ from London. Inspired by the sounds of EBM, Darkwave, Techno and New Beat, she likes to blend raw industrial bass lines with eerie synths, crafting a unique experience that captures a dark 80s feel alongside a spacey, hypnotic energy. 

In addition to her own music making, she has worked with numerous artists within the underground electronic scene. Zona Interdunar  (ˈzo.nɐˌĩ.tɛɾduˈnaɾ) is a Berlin-based duo of polyhedric musicians who bring a unique blend of hard techno, metal, and jazz to the dancefloors of the era of the polycrysis. More a band than an electronic act, they use their instruments, electric bass and trumpet, to populate the sonic space around relentless techno beats. Combining experimental drones, half-tamed feedback, spoken word poems, icy trumpets, and heavy riffing with the attitude of hardcore punk, Zona Interdunar transforms live electronic music into a ritualistic, loop-free performance where the overpowering energy of techno balances aggressive metal edges and experimental soundscapes.
This set is based on a live improvisation, enriched to weapon grade material with additional overdubs of distorted bass, synths, and trumpets. The result has been distilled into an explosive sonic mix where influences from Zu to Britney Spears are mixed with gabber and doom.

Coming from a working-class background, living in the brutalist concrete of the 'Cité des Étoiles', in the heart of the Gier valley in France,industrial music has flowed through her veins since an early age, intertwining with memories of the mechanical rhythms and machine noises of her home region. Born in the depths of the night, Moravie grew up listening to the icons of post-punk and new/cold wave and devouring romantic gothic literature, where the macabre and the erotic mix. Developing a fascination for melancholic darkness also through cinema and passionate about the underground music scene in Lyon, she began her journey to become a DJ 6 years ago. Moravie's dark and fascinating musical aesthetic is inspired by occult and controversial literature and cinema: Octave Mirbeau, William Seabrook,Gabrielle Wittkop / Luis Buñuel, Jess Franco, Mario Bava, Lucio Fulci, Dario Argento... Between Eros and Thanatos, her sounds meander in an atmosphere that evokes a "Garden of Torture", like a tropical forest of strange and hostile beauty. The rhythms are dark and sexy. The bodies become wet, in an obsessive and piercing dance. And then, suddenly, the martial binary hits the dance floor... Cold shivers. It is then that light and shadow intertwine. Here you can feel the rich legacies of Darkdisco and Mexican and South American EBM. He is keen to introduce the new EBM scene, which responds completely to current political oppressions, considering the anger of living and music as the most revolutionary acts possible that unite and federate the masses.

- This is my first release, and with it, I want to share not just music, but an honest part of myself.
I didn’t follow any rules or stick to a specific genre while creating it—I simply let my thoughts, emotions, and sonic obsessions speak for themselves. Every sound here was crafted with the intention of gradually shaping what will become my sound, my identity.

This project is the first step on a path that’s just beginning. I know there’s still a lot to improve, but I also know that everything you hear here was made with passion, dedication, and a fully self-taught process.

More music will come this year, but this EP… this one is special.
