Unsighted is the Brooklyn-based project of Nicolás Sierra, active since 2018. The Bogotá, Colombia native has been exploring and contributing to a wide range of genres over the years as a DJ, live performer, and producer. He has pushed boundaries through various styles such as EBM, electro, minimal synth, and new beat.

Throughout his career, Unsighted has released music on several labels, including Mahres (FR), Non Stop Rhythm (UK), Body Musick run by Filmmaker, Black Leather Records (DE/US/BE), F.S.U (COL), Bogoture (COL), and Discos Hechizos (COL). Third summary compilation Cultro Sub Costa released by Prague based industrial/noise/techno crew Wrong follows up the first two tapes Suspicion of Doubt (2017) and Occasions to Sin (2018) and now represents the 2019-2024 timeframe. Old tracks meet new ones, foreign names meet local artists and genres clash on this double tape. 

A side starting with dreamlike intro nervousness of Bernardino Femminielli setting up the tone, followed by feverish ASMR trap-trip of Okitap, Oil Thief’s groovy synth-noise, dirty punk-electro cuts of Kabal and HANGMAN, Swordsmith’s heavy cyber dancefloor mover and closing with Vein Data and his overdrive guitar electro ballad.

Side B is filled with abstraction and weirdness and opening with cinematic industrial ambient of Amethyst, then turning tides into more rhythmic territory with occult vibe of Espectra Negra, lo-fi hypnotic synth drama of Christophe Clébard, screwed rhythmic madness of Carrageenan and ambient melancholy of Kult Masek.

Side C starts by No Nation dealing power electronic blow, with following tight electro rumble of JNKR, Blush Response with his sharp and hasty broken techno, Filmmaker’s dirty grind, Ireen Amnes with her synth driven coldness, trancy tragic of Destruction Derby and EBM goes trance track by HKKPTR.

Compilation is closing on side D with last two guests: STATIQBLOOM and his apocalyptic techno monster and Zuzana Hakl with speed electro dizzyness. And apart from them last side belongs to Wrong crew: HYΛEN, Trauma, C4AT and The Undertaker’s Tapes.

It has been two years since the first compilation on the Various Artists series (PEVA) of Pi Electronics and the concept has stayed true to its aim: to present a coherent selection of the label’s favourite collaborators from the roster and parties over the years. Bringing together Greek and international artists, this compilation opens with a 10 minute recording by the combined forces of Orphx and JK Flesh (Justin Broadrick), from a live performance recorded in Amsterdam. Meanwhile we also showcase the resurfacing of Vofa, the joint project of producers Sawf and ANFS. There is a variety of options in this 13 tracks release; from the raw and harsh textures of An-i and New Frames, to Lycurgus live drum set recordings, Kondaktor’s African percussive electronics and Sarin’s EBM infused techno. Some more techno interpretations, such as the hypnotic moods of Stave and Fragedis, or the more punchy sounds of Restive Plaggona and Poison Green. These shape the full picture of this second Pi Electronics compilation titled ‘Divide & Rule’.

"The label's first release seeks to offer an initiatory experience to Forbidden Teaching's mission, namely to express the inexpressible.
The A side of the record is body oriented and is introduced with NN's "The Blood Of A White Monark", a track characterised by its forceful rhythm, cinematic breakdown and strong synths. Mind I Matter dives deeper in the EBM spectrum with "Thelema", a track featuring a
bassline that goes straight to the body and supported by an expertly crafted atmosphere, reminiscent of the notorious esoteric doctrine.
The B side of the record is soul oriented and begins with Antechamber's "The Ephemeral Hallucinations", an atmospheric track that elevates the listener to a place where earthly senses
