SUBSTENCIA
Substencia is a musician, producer and DJ based in Paris. Her music-loving background soon led her to get involved in the electronic scene in various forms: labels, webzines, and event organization. Since 2017, she has been creating dark industrial techno music productions, infused with a lot of cinematics, collages, noise, released on with several EP's, compilations and remixes on labels as Instinkt, Coup, Subverted, Culture of Violence, Durch, Drec, or Swedish label Kallkällan where she released in 2022 her third EP supported by many international artists. Highly personal and instinctive, her approach to music has developed over the years through constant practice and listening. Pure industrial music, dark ambient, neofolk, 90’s techno and baroque music: her many influences give to her DJ sets a cinematic, organic and intense dimension.
She has played all over France at parties and festivals such as Château Perché, FIFIB, and in clubs all over Europe as Elipamanoke in Leipzig or Moog in Barcelona. 
Since 2021, she has been part of the post-industrial noise duo Kabocha, who have released their first EP, “Human Exceptionalism”, on their own label in April 2023 and started performing live.As a resident DJ at the Monarch nights and in “Rave Up” radio show on Radio FG with a monthly residency, she is known for her intense, cinematic sets that features a highly personal approach to music thanks to her multiple influences: pure industrial music, noise, dark ambient, UK old school techno and even baroque music.

"We are absolutely thrilled showcasing 16 unique and exceptional tracks at this charity compilation. What makes this project even more special is its role as a charity initiative, dedicated to supporting the Iran protests."

At the heart of this initiative is a collaboration with FEMENA, an organization founded by Sussan Tahmasebi, dedicated to supporting women human rights defenders (WHRDs) and feminist movements in the challenging socio-political landscape of the MENA and Asia regions.

This collaboration seeks to make a positive impact through the universal language of music, amplifying the voices of those facing restrictions in Iran. Given the challenges and restrictions on direct financial support in Iran, this partnership aims to provide much-needed aid via FEMENA.

In a world where every word holds consequences and every silence bears weight, the latter cannot be a privilege. As the world witnesses the horrors of war and its devastating impact on innocent lives, it's imperative to raise our voices against injustice wherever it occurs. It is our duty, especially being artists, to raise consciousness and awareness, challenge norms and narratives. We cannot allow ourselves to overlook the ongoing crisis in Palestine. This is not merely a matter of political stance; it's a test of our humanity. If we fail to speak out against the slaughter of innocent people and the genocide unfolding in Palestine, we fail on fundamental levels of compassion and justice. 
It's not about political affiliations; it's about standing on the righteous side and feeling the pulse of what's truly just. 
With the power of technology, we are constantly connected to the realities of conflict, yet to stay silence in the face of such atrocities is deadly. 
For that reason we brought 61 artists together to break this silence and stand in solidarity with Palestine, especially the innocent children. 
In the haunting echoes of silence, where cries for help are drowned by the thunder of war, our music becomes a beacon of hope, piercing through the darkness to remind the world of its humanity. 
Each beat, each note is a testament to resilience, a defiance against the oppressors, a symphony of solidarity resonating across borders. 
In the tapestry of chaos, our voices rise like a crescendo, demanding justice, demanding freedom and peace, demanding that the world listen and act. 

Techno, Noise, EBM, punk, and experimental music—genres rooted in the ethos of creating alternate societies and challenging terrestrial limitations—have always championed freedom of expression. Yet, the contemporary landscape feels tainted by commodification, censorship, and the silencing of marginalized voices. This betrayal of the essence cannot be tolerated. 

Our music is a rebellion, a revolution of sound, breaking chains of apathy and indifference, igniting flames of empathy and action.We are not just musicians; we are storytellers of the silenced, architects of dreams, weaving melodies of resistance and resilience. 

Solidarity must be a foundational principle within our (sub-)culture. True freedom can only be achieved when all are liberated. Music, as a universal language, transcends boundaries and reminds us that every life is sacred.

We're thrilled to announce our upcoming charity project, VA 002 compilation, dedicated to supporting Palestinian children relief and medical aid. This initiative brings together 61 unique tracks from a diverse range of artists. Each track serves as a powerful statement, amplifying the voices of the oppressed and advocating for a meaningful cause. 

Through the universal language of music, our compilation project aims to raise awareness and provide vital support to Palestinian children in need. By featuring such a broad spectrum of artists and musical styles, we hope to engage a wide audience and inspire action towards positive change.

Prague collective Wrong is proud to present first solo release in their catalogue by Prague-based French producer Léo Hivert aka The Undertaker's Tapes. His debut album On the Last Day on Area Z label followed by several remixes and contributions to various compilations made him one of the most promising upcoming producer within the EBM and industrial scene. Autolysis is the first in planned series of recordings exploring theme of body and decay. It serves as the opening act focusing on cellular auto-destruction which comes as a mirror to the introspectional work that we have been put through during these doomed times. The Undertaker’s Tapes brings here doze of destruction in diverse approaches: from angry industrial through EBM dance-floor killers to noisy melancholia. 6 original tracks are accompanied by ritualistic heavy collaboration with French producer Incendie and four remixes delivered by EBM machinery Mind Matter, rising Czech techno madman C4AT and two members of Wrong collective HYΛEN and Trauma.

Maze DK (she/her) is a queer Polish DJ and producer based in Berlin. Her musical upbringing is rooted in EBM, industrial and underground punk, which heavily influences the type of techno she plays – her powerful and relentless music lifts the industrial sounds of broken machinery with an acid sprinkle on top. In her sets, she takes her listeners through dark and energetic dance rituals plunging them into a raving state of consciousness.

Maze DK has played both in and outside of Berlin in clubs as well as soli parties and underground raves for events like GEGEN at KitKat Club, Golosa at Suicide Circus, Dynamics at Mensch Meier, or HIGH at Fitzroy Club. She has been releasing podcasts for a number of collectives such as Durch, Autonoma Industriale and Diffuse Reality. She is also a resident DJ of queer party GOLOSA, one of the founders of Crush Kollektiv and a crew member of the queer dark techno party HIGH, and collaborates with the sex-positive techno party Poly|motion.
