IVORY BLACK is a self taught audio-visual artist operating out of NYC through several incarnations of creative energy (music composition, leather/metal working + garment design, perfumery, artwork/sculpture). Counting releases on collectives such as Alloy Choir, Post Hoc, Mindseyerecords, Stochastic Mask, and No Catharsis, they maintain a highly instinctual approach within their craft although defined by elaborate sonic modification. Their sounds are sourced in a non-linear method; nested for weeks, months or years at a time, to construct a rather intricate body of work that reflects on its own process of future self-actualization while maintaining a steady sense of where it stands during the present time.
