how did you do the tuning? to what extent did you remove 81/80 type (or possibly 64/63) commas? is this 5 limit or 7 limit?

Bach C# Minor Fugue in Just Intonation

This work used a drone and long pauses, as well as the voice, to achieve an eerie and otherworldly effect. The drone continually morphs over one chord, but transitions between timbres. I wanted the piece to sound like it was too confusing to understand, but with hints of intelligibility. I also used Max MSP's vocoder capabilities to create the robotic effect in the voice. I also manipulated several sounds using granular synthesis and ring modulation, as well as convolution. The lyrics (which I wrote) are:

'Darkness drips with pallid sheen, and it makes its way to earth, whose halo hung with light cannot handle hubris.'
'Time passes, future and past, what writings ever shall last?
Ideas rock to and fro, never revealed or shown.'

Meant to sound very lofty, inaccessible, and even contradictory by confusion.

Special kantele with the following 21 pitch classes (1/1 = C): 1/1, 25/24, 27/25, 9/8, 75/64, 6/5, 5/4, 32/25, 125/96, 4/3, 25/18, 36/25, 3/2, 25/16, 8/5, 5/3, 125/72, 9/5, 15/8, 48/25, 125/64. Fifth-tones ('diesis') abound, and septimal intervals, such as 7:4 and 7:6, are approximated by 5-limit intervals, making use of the 225/224 comma.
