I like to just let my mind do what it wants when I create. This topic is probably heavy on everyone's minds since elections are coming up. Please be kind to people, we are not the enemy, they are. Just look closer before you put your own personal value behind any of these people. They're not worthy, they're not going to save us. Only we can do that as a community. So, give back to your community if you can, and help each other through these difficult times. Maybe you can save someone from the brink of destruction, or maybe you need saving. It's up to the people here to love their communities. Money and power are not important, people are.

Sleepwalking Memory

Hi everyone. Here's my cover of the Amy Winehouse song "Wake Up Alone" from her famous album Back to Black. I started this cover on Wednesday then finished it later on Thursday. This was recorded at my new house, and on my new Mac computer using the recording program Reaper, which has already been an amazing experience. 

I played the piano on the Korg Grandstage, my Ibanez guitar (Steve 1) for the two guitar parts miked with the Vox amp, my five string bass going direct (with some added tweaking to remove the top frequency), and the drums are from a new favorite sample library called Sun Drums.

Covering this song was a fun exercise to get me ready for completing my original material inspired by Winehouse, and the first full song with my new recording equipment. I hope you like it.

The Water Nymph

I work as a nurse in the state of Florida and I love being there for people in need. My other true passion is making music. I'm kind of an amateur but I look forward to getting better and making the best music I can.

Most the songs I do in about a day and then move on. I don't have the skill to make them radio quality yet, but I hope with collaborating with others and making my own music I will learn some skills along the way. I don't focus on perfection, I focus on emotion and try to put feeling into my music.

Also, I love to get lost in other peoples work, I will often play video games while listening to a bunch of someone else's works and commenting on the ones I like the most, not all though, don't wanna seem like a stalker, unless you like that of course.

Been feeling a little burnt out lately, so if I'm not responsive please don't take it personal. Having to work OT to keep the family afloat, so I haven't had time for music and when I do have any time I'm just too exhausted. I definitely want to make more it brings me a lot of joy to make music. At the same time it is very taxing, reaching into the depths can sometimes cause unwanted feelings to linger longer than they should. Anyway, I love all the support you have all sent my way. Update: Soundcloud has become too expensive and the free version is terrible. They removed a lot of my songs etc... I will be moving on to a different distributer and working on more social media outlets so I won't be on here as much. Many of my songs will be on Spotify, apple etc, I'm in the process of transitioning them. I will leave what I can with the allotted two hours. I appreciate all of you.
