Nantes-based Tom Ferreira (Fasme) joins AF with his first and highly anticipated album titled ‘Bloom’. Well known in underground circles for an impressive live PA, Tom delivery 9-tracks (were recorded live) where he deploys his entire arsenal of analog synths. ‘Bloom’ immerses us in a world of 303-powered, crunchy machine drums with big emotive melodies, rushing piano motifs and swirling chords. This album will make you understand why Bicep (Ninja Tune) put Fasme on the exit ramp two years ago. Design comes by Acid Hazel (Berlin). You already know what to do.

RDS presents his debut album E-mutations. Following his debut EP "RDS Theme" (De Lichting), subsequent "RDS Suite" (Kalahari Oyster Cult) and most recently “Force of Nature” (Spectral Bounce). “E-mutations”, is a culmination of his distinct approach.

The album comprises eight playful recordings ranging from introspective to heartwarming electronic music. “E-mutations” highlights patience and creativity, produced with a simple 64mb E-mu Workstation (1997). By avoiding the distractions of modern production, RDS focuses on the creative process itself, letting the music evolve naturally.

‘E-mutations’ releases both physically on a 100 limited compact disk, as well as in the digisphere.

“Known to his friends as Xuki, Atmotic has been a DJ and record collector since 1998. The first cassettes he bought as a kid, by artists such as Vangelis, Jarre, and Enigma, shaped his musical taste to this day, with ambient electronica still remaining one of his favorite styles. However, he is quite versatile and owns an extensive vinyl collection of over 3,000 releases covering a wide range of musical genres.

The first labels he became obsessed with were Rephlex, Warp, and GPR, featuring artists such as μ-Ziq (Mike Paradinas), AFX, The 7th Plain, and B12, among many others. In his view, the essence of electronic music hasn’t changed that much, you can still clearly identify the influence in the work of new artists. What has changed is the accessibility and the tools available to produce music, resulting in bigger number of artists to discover, though not always with the same level of quality. 

Moreover, he believes that mainstream artists from 20, 30, or even 40 years ago were often far better than many of today’s, where social media and marketing are often more important than the music itself;  this is particularly applicable to some of today’s DJs”.
