Fila Brazillia - Nature Boy (originally performed by Nat King Cole)

DIE PARTEI was a one-off project featuring musician Tom Dokoupil <b>(Siluetes 61, The Wirtschaftswunder)</b> and the artist and musician Walter Dahn <b>(Die Hornissen).</b> The pair met up for a single weekend in 1981 to record "La Freiheit des Geistes" ("La Freedom of the Spirit"), a fantastic instrumental post-punk synthpop album. At times its forward thrust sounds cold, restless and hectic, at other moments it comes across as pleasantly winsome and melodic, plangent even. Film quotes and sporadic bursts of instruments (in particular Dokoupil's clean Vox guitar and a saxophone) flavour the music. "La Freiheit des Geistes" is an album of opposites in a state of mutual attraction, just as Dokoupil and Dahn intended. Out April 11, 2014, on CD, vinyl (180g) and for download.

ionoss is an aspiring manipulator of visuals, matter, and sound - at the beginning of an errant path which may end in a mesh of cables, synthetic skin, and autotuned delirium. Drawn to jagged rhythms, guttural bass, screams, and the sounds of blips, bells, and droplets. She conjures sonic spaces where the artificial becomes intimate, like the 'Rodeo & Digital Larvae' show on LYL Radio she co-runs with Aramo, and 'The Relentless Grip Of Time', her new solo residency on Fade Radio.
Today, the Athens-born, Marseille-based artist graces us with one of her haunting audio collages, a chaotic transmission where signals slash, voices rupture, and rhythms shatter like bone. Though, hunger lingers, and this cyber-utopian creature crawls through the backrooms of your memory, scavenging for terabytes to drain. Like a dead pixel born from too many glitches, her feral grin remains etched on your screen, as her mix floods your ears to the point of saturation.

Lithuanian DJ and curator Aleksandr L — founder of Electric Shapes and host on Radio Vilnius — crafts a mix that drifts through vaporous layers and blurred contours. Glowing textures dissolve into silence, loops echo like fading memories, and tones linger at the threshold of presence. A suspended flow shaped by contrast and nuance — where the stillness speaks, and each fragment carries the weight of what's just beyond reach.

"This little mix is a documentation of a magical summer in my house. I've had friends stay over during an intense long heatwave, and these tracks have been sketched out while hanging out drinking aperol spritzes and chilled wine, and after my friends have gone to sleep. It's a combination of sketches, short jams, almost finished tracks and repurposed bits. 
For those wondering who I am, I am a guy operating, quite comfortably, from the shadowy underbelly of the european experimental techno scene since the early 2000s. I was talked into releasing an EP on 030303 Records in 2014. Since then I've put out more stuff on Analogical Force, Love Love Recs, U.T.T.E.R., Furthur Electronix. 

I’ve gotten reports that both Autechre and Aphex Twin have DJ:ed my tracks, which is perhaps my biggest (second hand) achievement so far, since they are known for quite different styles of music.
