This is my solo set from Burning Medellin on 2-9-24 at Heard From in El Poblado, Medellin, Colombia. House and techno converge and conspire in the mid-bass synth licks and basslines to create my definition of big room dancefloor house.

They received an Honoraria art grant for 2024 to build the Celestial Syzygy Garden, a collection of cacti with swings, benches and even a merry-go-round for us to play with.  We learn about the art and about metal sculpting using sheet metal. We even talk about his involvement with off-road racing in Baja, California. The Icarus Art Car is  a moving sculpture, a roaming art gallery and music stage all in one massive vehicle.  Take a 25,000 lb cargo loader with a 350 Horsepower diesel engine and design it into what looks like a junkyard space ship.   But it’s more than that.  The build site is the community clubhouse, there’s tons of events.  This monstrosity has developed more headaches and more character than either Ilya Polyakov or Brandon Robinson, two of the four producers of this art car, could ever have imagined. Volunteer-driven Tonkwa Town needs 100’s of &nbsp;volunteers to fill 1000’s of shifts to keep infrastructure running smoothly from the arid desert. For the past nine years, she’s has helped volunteers find their perfect groove that's just right for them. &nbsp;&nbsp;Liz and her team have modified the volunteer tracking system as they have grown. &nbsp;Theme camps and regionals may be interested in what she has to say about working with volunteers. We burners love to make things. Rachel shares her techniques on how to build community space within a makerspace and more recently with her work at Maker Faire, Bay Area, 2018 as their Week of Learning programming lead.
