Beloved followers of the orange cloud! 

Yes, it’s the return of my IMAGINARY RAVE TAPES with the first new edition in 14 months. During the early stages of the pandemic I started this ongoing mixtape series as a substitute for closed clubs and missed moments of togetherness on the dancefloor so I thought it was nice to give them a break once that was possible again in 2022.

Now, I decided to reactivate it with Volume 16 as I think I would love to continue the utopian idea of the perfect rave these sets should spread. The world could use that spirit in troubled times and this is my way of celebrating diversity, togetherness and a hopeful future - by compiling uplifting, trippy tunes. It’s an invitation to my own personal “Discoteca Euphoria” if you’d like to call it this way. 

These IMAGINARY RAVE TAPES combine lots of forgotten retro rave tunes (this time with classics from Erasure, Danny Tenaglia and Way Out West) as well as current favourites of mine. Spring time haze, a follow on from the winter warmers mix we did for you last time. 

It’s something that ebbs and flows softly, giving off that fresh optimism of a new season but nostalgic still. Lots of light bokeh and vintage tones if it was put to film, hah! I also wanted to do a mix that felt timeless, making it re-listenable and ultimately very enjoyable tone-wise.

Her passion for music emerged during the 90s, moving from Caracas to New York, where she spent her time exploring in depth the musical culture of the city.
