Michael Burrows is an Australian folk- rock singer/songwriter. He has recorded his original songs with Neil Finn (Crowded House) and supported Martha Wainwright in a recent acoustic Australian tour.

Michael’s music has been described as a fusion of folk, Americana and rock with hints of artists such as The Beatles, Wilco and James Taylor. He enjoys playing solo on acoustic guitar as well as and with a band.  His songs are deceptively simple about complex things: love, family, home, trust. 

Most recently he has been co-writing with Grammy-award winning artist Frank Myers, who has penned worldwide hits such as 'I swear' (All 4 One, John Michael Montgomery), I'm already there' (Lonestar) and 'You and I' (Crystal Gale/ Eddie Rabbitt).

Michael has just returned from recording new tracks in Nashville at Ocean Way Studios. In addition to Frank Myers, he was produced by Jimmy Nichols (Faith Hill, Reba McEntire, Keith Urban) and engineered/mixed by (also Grammy-award winner), Steve Marcantonio (John Lennon, J. Geils Band, Roseanne Cash).

Based in Melbourne, Australia, he produces music for ads on TV and radio.
