We are back once again for the 32nd episode of my Invites series. Joining me tonight is one UK based artist who’s music and creative input is pure and exciting.

Real name, Nathan Lockwood gained my attention from the moment we spoke. His attitude and outlook towards the scene was real and his creative ideas where outstanding to say the least. Since then I have been fortunate enough to support his music on this show and in my DJ sets. It’s been inspiring to see his career grow and in just a short period, Nathan is already finding his own path. Releasing his third digital/Vinyl self release which came out just last week. Pushing the boundaries further  with an incredible 4 track EP which includes two collaboration tracks with another legend in our community "Alarico"

On tonight’s episode we find out in more depth about his journey so far and what keeps him motivated in the studio plus a lot more ; )

Dig deeper and deeper and do what you love until it kills you. Living by these maxims, Montero has captured the attention of the electronic music scene, taking his records to countries such as the UK, Portugal, Spain and Ukraine, among others. His devotion to music is unending, fueled by the hunt in the local record stores of Berlin, a city that has paved the way to fulfilling his dreams and has hosted his sets in most of their best and most notorious clubs like Tresor. Those who catch him live will not only notice the diversity of his track choices, constantly shifting between different sub-genres of electronic music, but also his ability to read the crowd - he doesn't just play what people want, he plays what they need . His understanding of how to adapt his music to the environment makes all the difference, a skill he says distinguishes many disc jockeys. Aside from deejaying, Montero finds solace in organizing quality club nights in Berlin through his Gaex series, which has hosted some of the best DJs on the scene. In 2022, deep in the north of Portugal, a new project emerged, Basilar. It's going to be an intimate techno experience with real underground artists. Juan curated the weekend line-up and is part of a great team of techno enthusiasts

We present you a new mix in our podcast series! Welcome Elias. from Berlin on our platform! This set was recorded on 22.06.2022 during the 'Tresor New Faces' event at Tresor Berlin.

[BIO]:
Elias is a producer and DJ from Germany, based in Berlin. Coming across techno music at a young age of 14 years, he’s hooked since then and eventually started producing himself in 2014. Ever since he’s developing his production skills, digging deeper into sounds, textures, rhythms and atmospheres with every year that passes. Mainly influenced by the sound of the 90s and early 2000s he got inspired by artists such as Deepchord/Rod Modell, Steve Rachmad, Basic Channel and DJ Slip. Releasing his music since 2016 on labels like Hayes, OHM, Plattform 22, Schimmer Records and Analog Solutions he released his first LP named „Narrative“ on EVOD Music. A show off of his versatile style spanning the thread from ambient, over breaks to dub techno, while clearly marking his signature sound, with dense atmospheres, field recordings and warm chords. Starting off the year with putting feet on new ground, he just joined the newly formed collective "ungesund“, which curates a monthly podcast series and club events in Berlin, inviting admired artists and connecting with other local collectives.

We are delighted to introduce you LKY  a DJ/Producer from the UK who has been strongly shaped by the UK techno scene through running his own events, DJing and writing music since 2012. His style has naturally progressed towards the driving and hypnotic style of the genre building energy throughout. Born in the UK, Nathan Lockwood has been exposed to electronic music from an early age. With over 10 years experience in the scene from event goer to promoter to now a DJ/Producer playing all across Europe delivering Hypnotic rhythms with core dub influence throughout all of his sets. LKY’s first release in the more hypnotic specification of the genre was in 2020 for Drawner. Since then, LKY has released music on OECUS, SYXT and Secession. In 2020 LKY also saw the formation of his self-release series titled ‘LKY’ which was an opportunity to showcase LKY’s style and direction. LKY has also had great support for his releases from Pioneers of the scene we love and cherish such as; DVS1, Freddy K, Matrixxman, Setaoc Mass, Ben Klock and many more.'
