Some songs live in your head rent-free until you finally have to make them your own. For me, Kid Cudi’s Dat New New has been a favorite of mine since high school. I always told myself I’d remix this track once I had the skills to do it. This flip was one of the most fun processes I’ve ever had making a track. It all just came together perfectly, and I was actually able to articulate what had been in my head into reality. I had a blast adding my own twist while still honoring the original, and I’ve been playing this remix all summer. Now it’s finally yours!!! I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it. Shortcvke’s has many self released tracks including "Dryad" on Bass n Babes Records and “Preroll (Qveen Herby flip)” that has surpassed 10K Streams. She has also released tracks with labels such as The Delirium Project, Citrus Grove Collective, & Lost & Found Beings. Her work also includes a mix series titled “eat cvke” as well as other DJ mixes through collectives such as Eternal Drip and Rewind 140.

Shortcvke has showcased her DJ sets, sharing the stage with artists such as The Widdler, Pushloop, Onhell, Zen Selekta, Chef Boyarbeatz, Jordnmoody, Antennae, Wreckno, StarMonster,and Slang Dogs.
