“Slim Boy Fat” started with me chopping up the iconic “Star 69 , "Know What Is What” sample,  a vocal I’ve always connected with and loved,  The groove came together quick, added some harmonic bass and wubs,  and from there, it just built itself.

I’ve been playing this one out at almost every show this summer, and the crowd reactions have been amazing!! so I figured it’s finally time to share it with the world. 💜

This one’s a tribute to Fatboy Slim, one of my biggest inspirations, reimagined through my own lens.

This remix is my heartfelt tribute to @prettylights , an artist who inspired me to start creating music in the first place. this song means the absolute world to me. remixing it was something i thought about many times. and many times i decided it was not the right time.
i waited until i felt i was ready to give it the honor it deserves
i first heard this song 18 years ago and I've been trying to get better ever since. 

to have Derek play an early version of this out at elements is nothing short of a dream come true. what a treat it is to be alive and to make music and dance all together with one another. 

i hope you enjoy my take on this classic.
