With over 25 years immersed in the music industry, my career has been a passionate and evolving exploration of sound. It all began with the electric energy of garage music at the legendary Epping Country Club, where I discovered my love for DJing. For six years, I dedicated myself to mastering the art of garage, becoming deeply connected to the rhythm and culture of the scene.

As my passion for music grew, so did my desire to explore new sounds. Influenced by the vibrant nightlife at Club Warehouse in Edmonton and the cutting-edge productions from iconic record labels like Drumcode, I transitioned into the realms of funky house, tech house, and techno. These genres offered me the creative freedom to experiment, layer, and refine my style into something truly unique.

London became the backdrop for the next phase of my journey. The city’s thriving music scene and legendary venues such as The Egg, The Cross, and Sosho's were instrumental in shaping my sound. Each performance at these iconic locations allowed me to connect with diverse audiences and hone my craft, blending the soulful grooves of deep house with the pulsating energy of minimal tech house.

Today, my sets are a sophisticated and seamless fusion of genres, designed to take listeners on a journey from the nostalgic vibes of Old Skool Garage to the innovative sounds of modern techno. Every mix reflects my dedication to the craft, a commitment to innovation, and a deep understanding of how music connects us all.

Feedthelizard is Benny Mcgrigors second project inspired by the years he has spent living on tropical islands in Thailand including Koh Tao and Koh Phangan. His musical style over this time has been delicately forged to energise ravers in paradise by taking them on deep, euphoric, groovy and sexy journeys adapted to fit day partys, sunset sessions on a beach to the underground vibes of a club.

As Feed the Lizard, Benny plays a wide range of styles from House, Disco, Funk to Deeptech, Deephouse, Minimal and House Music to keep the vibe right for the situation. Moreover, his knowledge gained through years of DJing and producing has allowed him to showcase his sound at festivals and events worldwide alongside managing weekly beach partys, running a DJ school, and underground music venue (The Studio Koh Tao) all in Thailand.

Benny’s first underground musical project, XENOSCAPES is a experimental form of Minimal Techno with a unique Dark, atmospheric yet Sexy and groovy vibe. As XENOSCAPES Benny has released numerous tracks of his own on labels from all over Europe, Latin America, Australia, Asia all available on Beatport.

Strobetech's journey began in their early years, bonded by a shared passion for music. Their collaboration started with a mutual love for a specific style, eventually leading them to produce their own tracks. Initially focused on DJing, Strobetech quickly transitioned into music production, honing their unique sound.

Renowned for their driving and underground techno sets, Strobetech captivates crowds with their original tracks that keep fans coming back for more. Their distinctive style has earned them recognition across the globe, with releases on several renowned record labels.

Having had the opportunity to collaborate with major names in the techno scene, such as Virgil Enzinger, Citizien Khain, and Spartaque, Strobetech has firmly established themselves as a force in the industry. Their energetic performances are a staple of Zurich’s vibrant club scene, where they consistently bring the crowd to life with their fresh, electrifying techno sets.

Ant TC1 along with Hidden Agenda founded Dispatch Recordings back in 2001, Ant originally helped out with the management side of the label before finding his feet within the realms of production; which was a natural progression for him having DJ’d on pirate radio and in clubs from the age of 14 (since 1992).  His first release alongside frequent production partner Stress Level appeared on Dispatch after almost 3 years of hard work getting their collective sound where they felt it needed to be before even thinking about turning on a DAT recorder.  After their first release hit the stores they quickly picked up a wealth of DJ support across their early material and went on to release for a who’s who list of established Drum & Bass record labels including the likes of Renegade, CIA, Advanced, Critical Records Integral, Liquid V, Commercial Suicide, Good Looking Records, Bingo Beats and Samurai Music.

By demand remix work started to feature heavily within their output and the duo went on to remix for the likes of Hidden Agenda, Chris SU, Artificial Intelligence, Kabuki, Total Science, Optical & Ryme Time (Jagged Edge), Atlantic Connection, Tactile & DJ Marky.  Branching out and working with other producers such as Survival, DLR & Philth has only furthered experience Ant’s skills at the controls over the years, Ant has also released his own solo material more recently on top of remixing for the likes of Lomax on Integral Records.  In 2014 Ant realised a lifetime ambition, securing his first ever release for the legendary Metalheadz label “Hungry For Atmosphere” alongside Mako, DLR & Villem with further releases for the label and counting going into 2024.

Ant’s production output has featured on a mass of compilations and mix CD’s compiled by the likes of Shy FX, LTJ Bukem, Total Science, AI, Spectrasoul, Klute and Brian G.  Additionally his work has featured very heavily within the radio shows of Friction, Grooverider, Fabio, Goldie, Bailey & Rene LaVice on their respective BBC Radio 1 slots over the years as well as BBC 1Xtra where Ant once hosted his own one-off 4 hour show, he has since additionally made 2 guest DJ appearances for DJ Friction on his Radio 1 show.  His DJ’ing work has seen him play all over the globe from Adelaide to Los Angeles, from Hong Kong to Sarajevo, Vancouver to Bangkok and last but by no means least regularly UK and EU wide. Additionally for the most part of the decade beyond 2010 Ant also worked as the Artist Manager for both Outlook and Dimensions Festival in Croatia, leading up the booking process, budgets and travel aspects for the festival.

Fast forward through to 2024; Ant is now responsible for the lead label management roles of both Metalheadz & Dispatch Recordings and is based in Thailand, with a purpose built studio room recently finished the plan (alongside managing a mass of planned record label releases) is to get back to focusing on writing music more consistently than he ever has previously.
