Mr. McCarthy has a mannequin that sits 
In his second story window.
Mr. McCarthy hasn’t been home at all, 
for at least a month or so.

Why would he leave 
and just leave her sitting there 
in the second story window

It seams odd that he should care 
so very, very little 

As I walk by and I look up
At that second story window
She’s dressed in red she’s got long dark hair
She looks as if she longs to know

What is out there in the world to see?
Just what could she be?
If she could just walk away remove herself 
From the second story window.

As I pass by I say hello
to the second story window
Sometimes I sing and sometimes we laugh 
to help ease her sorrows.

Each night at 8
As I pass by I tell her how my day was
She tells me about hers and it’s always the same
always unpleasantness

We’ve hatched a plan 
Tomorrow night at 6PM
I will meet her then
And take her out of this place 
Take her from here
Far away 
Anywhere but here

Mr. McCarty came home today 
With the whole thing on display 
I ought to give him a peace of my mind 

A plans is a plan, so we stick to the plan 
And nothing gets in our way now
We will have to be cautious but it stays the same 
I’m going to save you from this place 

So I ran over down below
That second story window
But to my surprise she was not there
It was Mr. McCarty instead

As confirmed by witnesses, a few remote places in the world have had ”singing sands”. Grains of sand have made a singing sound when moving and slowly rolling down dune slopes.

This phenomenon does not exist anymore. Due to worldwide pollution no dunes today contain sand which is pure enough to bring forth this kind of sound. 

Another of mankind´s achievements.
