Flying High was Buzzard's second studio album, recorded live at Beaumont Street Studios, Huddersfield. This album was the fastest turnaround the studio had ever done, managing to record, mix and master it in only 5 hours. It featured tracks by The Who, The Animals, Cream, Buddy Holly, Bo Diddley, The Beatles & Lightnin' Hopkins.

Teardrop - Massive Attack Cover

Buzzard was a Rock/Rhythm & Blues band from Huddersfield, West Yorkshire through the late 90's and early 2000's playing up and down the UK on a weekly basis. Formed at a local jam session by Paul Sutherland, Norman Perry & John Magowan. Later to be joined by the late Graham Phillpot on main vocals and harmonica & John Tilley on Bass, completing the line up that brought them so much success and that gave so much joy to themselves and many many others over the years. During their time together they managed to record 2 studio albums -  'More Smoke' & 'Flying High'. You can find them here. Happy listening :-)
