‘1234’ with ASHEZ drops January 24th as the standout single before the EP release, and has classic sounds you’d expect from both artists, blending together for an energetic track that has been demolishing dance-floors. ASHEZ has had a huge 2024 year, and kicking off 2025 with this release seems just right…

“Max (ASHEZ) is a fun guy and I think that really comes through in the music he makes so its always a good time working together. 1234 is one of those tracks that we had been kicking back and forth over the process of like two years. There have been a few different versions and arrangements and we finally got it dialed in as I was finalizing the EP.” - Buzz Junior

The title track ‘Stacks’ starts off the EP with a massive 808 driven beat filled with classic hype trap synths that reminds us of classic anthems from Hucci, UZ, Stooki Sound and that era of music. ‘Back Again’ is a perfect blend of trap sounds blended with modern day 140bpm Deep Dubstep, and makes it a perfect DJ weapon for a wide array of sets and artists. ‘1234’ with ASHEZ switches up the tempo into a huge drop combining Buzz Junior’s bounce and ASHEZ’s signature sound design that perks the ears, using massive reeses and top layer synths to take over the full spectrum. ‘Might Be’ keeps the bounce going and brings groovy synth work and deep bass that can make any dance-floor move. ‘Sidewinder’ closes the EP with an epic build into a wild drop featuring a colorful call & response between old school trappy synths and wonky bass music wobbles.

This full Buzz Junior EP is next level and full of massive tracks we expect to hear throughout the bass scene all year long. Buzz Junior returns to Gravitas Recordings on January 24th with ‘1234’, a huge collaboration with New Zealand producer ASHEZ. This is the first release of 2025 for Gravitas, and comes ahead of Buzz Junior’s full Stacks EP landing January 31st.  Focusing on the old school sound of trap and blending it with modern day dubstep and bass music, Buzz Junior brings a twist to classic sounds.  This single does just that and has signature sounds you’d expect from both artists, blending together for an energetic track that has been demolishing dance-floors. With the single and EP artwork paying homage to old school trap art, this fresh sound and release is the full package.
