I’m incredibly happy to share the first mix of the "floating details" series, recorded by BLEACH. An artist from Bern known for oscillating between heavy bass music and calm, emotive sounds beyond the epicenter of the dancefloor.

While listening to her selections, I often find myself drifting into the ethereal, warm moods of her mixes—especially in her morning sets, through which everything seems to open up and float.

The first pieces of her mix for floating details emerged while preparing for a journey to a special "space in between". Integrating experiences gathered on this journey, BLEACH completed the mix and created a sonic postcard that tells tales from a place that stretches between deep, captivating moments and gentle warmth.

It is now September 2025, after a rich, contrasting and complex summer, and it is time to unveil the 36th episode of the series with producer and DJ 矯激 [Radical].

His real name is Raphaël Cuevas, and he is a character full of contrasts, discreet yet highly acclaimed on the French and Andalusian underground scene. He has released some great tracks on labels such as Perchépolis, Forsaken Cell, and NFEREE Records. His unique style is at the crossroads between deep techno, liquid, breakbeat, bass music and experimental music infused with dub sounds and sometimes raw accents.  With surgical precision and a definite psychedelic vibe, the artist delivers here a set played at Peppar 2025 in Spain, intended for the most seasoned ravers, ready to battle it out on a dance floor in the middle of the desert at 40 degrees Celsius, enough to relive the summer of 2025 once again before he bows out.

grad_u (Aleksandr Martinkevič) is a Vilnius-based DJ, producer, and label owner, widely recognized as one of the key figures in the modern deep and dub techno scene. Active for over two decades, he has shaped a career that bridges multiple roles — from local DJ to international tastemaker — while maintaining a distinctive and coherent sonic identity.
Originally rooted in d’n’b, his artistic direction shifted after hearing Fluxion’s Prospect II, a transformative moment that steered him toward the immersive depths of dub techno. Since then, his sound — suspended between natural landscapes and urban geometries — has evolved through the use of analog textures, tape recording, and a painterly approach to production.

In 2012, he founded Redscale, his first vinyl-only label, created to host his own work and soon acclaimed worldwide. Yet it was with the launch of Greyscale that grad_u expanded his vision into a fully realized curatorial project. With more than 80 releases and contributions from artists across six continents, Greyscale’s Mood Series has become one of the genre’s most respected and enduring catalogues — a global meeting point for established and emerging producers alike.

Beyond his work as a producer and curator, grad_u continues to perform across Europe, bringing his immersive and meticulously crafted sound to clubs and festivals. His presence stands as a testament to a lifelong exploration of techno’s spatial and emotional dimensions.
