Back-to-front, upside-down and split in half – in these pieces, familiar tunes have been rearranged to present students with the fun challenge of identifying them. Individual titles give some cryptic clues. This set of six pieces is intended for string orchestra students in their first two years of learning. There are parts for violin (a single part instead of 1st and 2nd), viola, cello, and bass, as well as an integral piano accompaniment designed to support players with the more challenging rhythms. These attractive and fun pieces will entertain students and audiences alike.
