From a young age Travis always felt a deep connection to music. Growing up in very music friendly family he can always remember his roots. Writing songs starting at the age of 14 he recorded at home with a small set up just to hear himself and developed his skills. At 18 years old starting to play in Vancouvers open stages and busking in Gastown, Vancouver he knew his music was his calling. From 2002 on he developed his music professionally playing in multi disciplines and performing for small groups and large festivals. Travis settled in the Columbia Valley and has launched a media company where he will continue to develop and his passion working with the great people of the valley.

Mile Zero Dance Edmonton, AB — 2006-2010
Setting up music and playing along to the most interesting modern dance acts and performances in and around the Edmonton area. Acting as sound technician and performer.

K.O. Dance Edmonton, AB — 2006-2010
First hired to perform for the U of A summer Orchesis Dance Intensive this
relationship grew to include over 20 performances including Manhattan NY’s JudsonChurch and the creation of a 45 min Act which premiered at the Expanse Festival.

Cafe Leva Edmonton, AB — 2006–2008
Hired to perform solo every Thursday and book music every Friday. This was where improve singer songwriter skills were developed.

Of Breath/Str8 Up Gypsies Edmonton, AB — 2007-2010
Starting with Of Breath and recording their first album which is released on iTunes and Apple music they developed into a show booked for restaurants and cafés to provide mellow folk/jazz like ambience for guests. They quickly developed into the Str8 Up Gypsies which was more of a dance/Electronic beats/folk performances to get people dancing. The Str8 Up Gypsies performing thesis was they improved every show and recording always keeping the music fresh and current. This period was very busy for music with up to four or five gigs per week.

Yellowhead Brewery Edmonton, AB — 2010-2016
Hired as Director of Operations. Managed over 1000 events booking all kinds of
music from live bands to DJ Dance events.

C Flats is a gritty, rootsy four-piece Canadian rock band featuring singers Greg Boa and Jon Howse swapping vocal and lead guitar duties.  Drummer John Vanderploeg and Bassist Gary Hollick round out the quartet. We are a group of talented and creative musicians that met and smoothly transitioned into a multi-genre songwriting music making partnership in Feb 2018.
