Welcome to the second installment of the monthly CGIMIX series.  Volume 2.0 treats us to an expertly blended set of tunes lovingly hand-picked (and in some cases hand crafted) by Atlanta's own Stefan 'REKchampa' Ringer.  With white-hot releases forthcoming on NDATL, Harsh Riddims, Local Heat, and CGI, Stefan is poised to help shape the sound of the next generation of house and techno coming out of the Southeastern US and it is an honor for us to have him showcase his deck skills for our mix series.  The tracks presented here range from deep and soulful to funky and freaky to hard and dark and sensual, and the way he ties it all together displays a focus and passion that is rare, effortless, and noteworthy. Johnnie Ray Kornegay III (Jay Ray) is the Creative Director for CNP (Counter Narrative Project). In addition, he is co-host and producer of the podcast Queue Points, a visual podcast where he and his co-host, DJ Sir Daniel, inform and celebrate Black Music creatives through meaningful dialogue.   

He is a photographer, creative consultant and social commentator whose work is centered around a commitment to telling full and honest stories about communities often ignored.
