Coast to coast is one of my favorites on here, it was really fun to write, Made some cool sounds along the way, and it's a really great party track to get the feet moving, and the vibes right.

'Tell your Friends You Love them' starts with a funky break and slap bass that quick evolves into a electro glitchy house that gets your blood pumping and will no doubt translate on the dance floor. 'Lava' is a bumping, electro house banger with great use of guitars, chants and more of that wonderful slap bass that defines Funkinright's sound. Together these 2 make for an unstoppable release.

My Obsession

Fresh off the back of the double AA release Lemonade, The Fritz returns with the latest installment of his film-noir inspired Jazz Hop series. 

Dripping with atmosphere and intrigue is the title track 'Good Morning, Sunshine', which features a rolling vintage-jazz sample, crisp drums, and a vocal hook from Raymon Chandler's The Big Sleep. Hot on its heels is followed up by 'Oohh!', a unique swung-out groover featuring a very Fritzy-sample from a country-inspired jazz album - yee haw!

BadboE is back on Breakbeat Paradise Recordings with a groovy funk jam called Hard Times, which comes with 3 remixes from Suckaside, Baxta & Boydex and Gramophone Soul. This is the first original EP from BadboE since 2017 where he dropped his Get You Boogie On EP on Bombstrikes and the Under The Spell EP right here on BBP.

It’s been a little over 2 years since BadboE picked up a long-forgotten funky 45 and started turning it into a ghetto funk banger. The back-to-the-roots concept of this track takes a more laid-back – all oldskool funk approach and leaves the bass action for the remixes.

The original vocals plays a center price on this track and shows how the “Hard Times” from the early 70s is very much still here in 2023!    

The EP kicks off with BadboE’s original mid-tempo cut which has a play with a jazzy saxophone riff and steady rocky ghetto funk beat. 

Suckaside aka DJ B-Side and Sucka Timmy amplifies the oldskool hip hop vibes on their remix which leave room for the vocal to shine in with some raggae riffs to back it up.

New to the scene Baxta has teamed up with Boydex and decided to bring the track into the new decade with a bassy but yet funky remix.

Finally Grammophone Soul who just finished up his full-length album called Soul Revolution, turned the party vibes up high with a funky house remix of Hard Times.

A little bit for everyone on this one – and yet another steady belter from the BBP team. Stay tunes for more funky release coming soon.

C@ In The H@ (pronounced: Cat in the Hat), DJ & Producer who creates a fusion of early twentieth century swing and jazz, and chunky twenty-first century beats with bouncy electronic bass.  

Hailing from Birmingham UK with an innovative style called "Swing with the Big Bass Sound", his DJ sets are about mashing it up and having fun, bringing you Electro Swing & Vintage Remix with aspects of Turntablism, DnB, House, Hip Hop, Dubstep & whatever else fits into the melting pot.  

He is also Director at Ragtime Records alongside Tom ESC (Electric Swing Circus) & Duke Skellington (Vaude Villainz).  His releases have seen him getting a number of Spotify editorial playlistings (including a no.1 spot), tracks in the top 10 on Beatport, and his remix of 'Swingin' Together' has been featured on no less than 3 best of Electro Swing compilations. As well as producing music for Ragtime Records, he has also had releases on Freshly Squeezed, Pedigree Cuts, Breakbeat Paradise Recordings, Ton Liebt Klang, & Greenqueen Music.   

Since 2012, his music has secured him gigs at the most exciting UK Festivals including Boomtown, Shambala, Secret Garden Party & Glastonbury; as well as seeing him playing gigs all across Europe, and further afield including UAE & Thailand.
