Stuck Up There is the latest instalment in The Fritz's exploration through  obscure jazz records and 1960s sci-fi. With a melancholy sample, the tune tells the story of a group of astronauts who are unable to get home after their  spaceship breaks down on the Moon.  
As the vocal sings 'misery, you've got to go', the astronauts look back at Earth  and lament that they'll never be able to describe the beauty of the view to  anyone back home.  
Coupled with Fritz's unique drum sound and crisp production, this latest  release form Ragtime Records is surely destined to get Stuck Up There after  you've played it through your headphones.

Ragtime Records proudly presents RR087, the first in a series of official remixes of the legendary Harlem Hamfats.  Kicking off this exciting journey is the Extra Medium Remix of “When The Sun Goes Down In Harlem”.

Harlem Hamfats, formed in 1936, were known for their own brand of dirty blues and very danceable music, which blended Blues, Dixieland, and Jazz Swing.  In 2025 they get an official remix from Extra Medium which is also very suitable for the dancefloors of today, and is equally dirty as the original material, but this time it's the bassline which provides the dirt.

Extra Medium takes the original classical and flips it into a hot hot DnB/Dubwise number. With a tight skanking dubwise guitar, clean drums, and chest rattling 808s and reese basslines, this remix is a celebration of past & present.  Taking the brass stabds and vocals hooks from the original, Extra Medium breathes new life into this Harlem Hamfats classic, ready for any DnB dancefloor.

C@ In The H@ (pronounced: Cat in the Hat), DJ & Producer who creates a fusion of early twentieth century swing and jazz, and chunky twenty-first century beats with bouncy electronic bass.  

Hailing from Birmingham UK with an innovative style called "Swing with the Big Bass Sound", his DJ sets are about mashing it up and having fun, bringing you Electro Swing & Vintage Remix with aspects of Turntablism, DnB, House, Hip Hop, Dubstep & whatever else fits into the melting pot.  

He is also Director at Ragtime Records alongside Tom ESC (Electric Swing Circus) & Duke Skellington (Vaude Villainz).  His releases have seen him getting a number of Spotify editorial playlistings (including a no.1 spot), tracks in the top 10 on Beatport, and his remix of 'Swingin' Together' has been featured on no less than 3 best of Electro Swing compilations. As well as producing music for Ragtime Records, he has also had releases on Freshly Squeezed, Pedigree Cuts, Breakbeat Paradise Recordings, Ton Liebt Klang, & Greenqueen Music.   

Since 2012, his music has secured him gigs at the most exciting UK Festivals including Boomtown, Shambala, Secret Garden Party & Glastonbury; as well as seeing him playing gigs all across Europe, and further afield including UAE & Thailand.
